Last week something happened around a table at @celeste_nottinghill that I am still thinking about…

A group of founders in the wellness space, all building something and navigating the same worlds, came together in person to connect, share and remind each other that the isolation of building something is not inevitable.

I am still thinking about the conversations that happened around that table.

There is something that no amount of social media, no number of Linkedin connections and no perfectly curated online community can replace. The feeling of sitting across from someone who genuinely gets it. Who is building something, felt the weight of both worlds and knows exactly what you mean when you say something always loses....

Human connection is one of the most undervalued health interventions available. The research on social connection and professional performance, longevity, and mental health is unambiguous.

In a world where most professional relationships have moved online,
the in-person moment has become the rarest and most valuable thing we can create for each other.

This morning was that moment.

The right people. The kind of conversation that only happens in person.

Thank you to @theturmericco @pipandnut @humantra

Ayurvedic principles that I now do that have massively helped with bloating and digestion!

All of these were discussed in my latest episode with @miramanek on @catchupsinmykitchen

The Ayurvedic lifestyle prioritises digestion and so if you are struggling I couldn’t recommend more to dial into their foundations and implement some of their rituals into your everyday

My week back to ☀️🔥 London starting with the incredible Humare Ram @humareram_official Ramayana production — as well as a very close and special family wedding which I’ll post about soon.

Thrilled that this Ramayana production came to London! To have grown up watching the Ramayana and learning it in school (thank you St James) and going to Bapu’s Ram Katha — amazing to see that this play is sold out each night at Hammersmith Apollo

Actors lighting stage — it was all beautiful. Thank you @prukgroup

And @ashutosh_ramnarayan was 🫶💯

My bandhani jumpsuit @alpareena was approved by Radha and Sheetal 😉 why didn’t you come in the frame @champions_of_togetherness 🤨

Recorded a podcast on Ayurvedic living with Georgia @catchupsinmykitchen @georgia.symonds

Served up Iced Chais at my friend @mimiikonn book launch! @waterstones

Chai before the talk @shivani.pau @mimiikonn — check out the book!

Catchups at book launch from our epic northern lights trip in December — thank you @farzanahnasser_nutrition @docemilia — and missing a few!

A few gym sessions - even if they were short - always necessary even in the heat ☀️

My sister always makes the best spreads for brunches and dinners! This was the weekend big family brunch and I’ve recorded a little something about the alternative she made for ragda petis - posting soon @meenalsachdev

Mango pop up - of course I went! Thank you Priyanka for bringing Indian favourites and foods to life in the most stylish way anyone could ever do it @studiopriyankalondon @priyankarajprakash

I just love that @rupeenpopat shows the old Ramayana series that we grew up watching to his son! We did it together this time

@dogdaddies happy birthday & love how @katie_brindle always brings everyone together 😘

Bit of work and journalling / thought stream writing on Sunday! Also, this is a cafe that stopped using @chaibymira 😔 not many - in fact hardly any ever - have stopped using. But…. the reality of having a product!

Recorded another podcast in Spotify studios — on a topic I love and am releasing an e-book on. Tell you more soon!

Made granola — recipe is a few posts back — for my cousin’s wedding (well, I didn’t make myself this time)
