HYROX DC — 1:17 🏁

My first solo race… and honestly, this one hit different.

HYROX is more than just a race. At some point, it stops being about your body and becomes a battle with your mind. The pain, the doubt, the thoughts telling you to slow down, the moments where you question if you can keep going… you’re forced into a place of self-preservation.

And in a weird way, it reminded me of life. It was a point in this race where I couldn’t barely move my legs and thought to myself damn I’m not going to be able to finish but with my support system behind me i was able to push through and finish and it just shows how far our limits really are.

You can prepare as much as you want, but when you’re in that moment, it’s just you and your ability to push through it.

Crossing that finish line brought a feeling I can’t really explain.

1:17. Not the time I ultimately want, but I’m proud of what it took to get there. I learned a lot about myself, and I know there’s so much more in me.

To everyone who came out, checked on me, supported me, and believed in me… thank you. Having my friends and family there made that finish line mean even more.

First solo race down.

Finished with a 1:09:31 and left hyrox DC with no regrets while going to war alongside my brother @chargedupcc ! Next stop is Miami in a few weeks for a pro solo race and I’m feeling very confident that it’ll be a great day with a big PR ! The build/journey continues and the training is working ! Love to anyone and everyone who is or has been apart of my journey whether you’ve known me for awhile or just meeting me.. thank you 🙏🏾
