Life lately… 🤍

One of the greatest blessings of my life is being married to a man who loves God and loves me with intention.

The way my husband cares for my heart shows me daily what godly love looks like in practice, not just in words.

Marriage works best when both people put God first and each other second.

When love is rooted in Christ, it creates patience, safety, and grace that sustains even in the hard moments.

That kind of intentional, God-centered love is what makes marriage not just work, but THRIVE. ❤️

2025 broke my heart in a way that I wasn’t prepared for. 👼🏾 And then it felt like blow after blow from situations, circumstances and those who should have covered me. But then I experienced some of the most beautiful memories with some of the most beautiful people. This year strengthened my prayer life and my circle. It also reminded me that God will forever go before me and I need only to be still. He remembered me…and always will! Cheers to a new year of strength, love, and prosperity. I can’t wait to show you guys what God has been doing behind the scenes. 🥹 #newyear #goodbye2025 #hello2026 #lastpost #yearinreview

8 months and sometimes I still feel like I haven’t waken up from this nightmare. I’ve learned to move throughout the day, almost like it never happened. But ohhh the nighttime. When the noise of the busy day grows silent, that’s when it hits me the hardest. Sometimes I can feel the pain in my chest, like the very morning my heart was shattered, and I have to remind myself to breathe. “Just breathe Aneika.” Because every breath you take means you’re one breath closer to meeting your baby. I’m really missing my baby tonight. 😢😞 #miscarriage #grief #griefandloss #griefjourney

5 years of marriage and I’m STILL obsessed with you. This has been the shortest and greatest 5 years of my life. This life that we’ve built is one I will never take for granted. Just a few days ago, I said to you, “I know that this is tough but I wouldn’t want to go through it with anyone else,” and I meant every word. This life just seems so much easier with you. The way you carry me through my hard times, the way you talk me through my doubt and the way you comfort me through my grief, babe, I wish everyone could experience this type of love. I love us. I don’t always know how to describe what I feel but I just LOVE US! The way we live our lives for US, not concerned with what others think and how they feel, you taught me that. Charles Steven, there is not a person on this planet that loves me the way you do and not a person on this planet that can come between what we have. Cheers to 60 more my love! Happy Anniversary and THANK YOU for making it easy for my paw paw and dad to give me away. 😌

You all should know by now but I’ll never stop saying it. THANK YOU GOD FOR REMEMBERING ME! 🥹🤞🏾❤️ #TheBrideofChuckie #marriage #anniversary #marriagegoals #bestfriend #married #marriedlife

Happy 3 Year Anniversary to the one who sets my soul on fire in all the right ways. You’re still the man of my dreams. You still kiss me every morning before you leave for work NO MATTER WHAT. You still ask me everyday when you’re away from me, “have you eaten?” You still rub my hair every single night before I fall asleep, even when you’re exhausted. You still love my family as if they’re your very own, but then again, I guess they really are. I’m still completely in love with you, the way you look, the way you laugh, the way you work so hard, the way you hold your composure in the toughest of times with such maturity and grace, the way you pray for me on your way to work, the way you go to God when things go wrong AND right, the way you INTERCEDE FOR YOUR FUTURE UNBORN CHILD! I’m so obsessed with you and I don’t plan on stopping. Every year gets sweeter and sweeter. We argue less than year one and two and I didn’t even know that was possible. We love on each other so much. And we ALWAYS ride for one another. Thank you for being the man God created just for me. And to God, my Father, THANK YOU FOR REMEMBERING ME! 🥹🖤

This past weekend, I watched you live out a dream of yours. I watched you perform and open for your biggest artist yet and I watched the crowd fall in love with you. I watched you shake hands with people in places you’d like to be, humbled by their compliments and encouragement. I watched you walk through the crowd after you got off stage and saw how so many stopped you just to tell you how amazing you are as well as shake your hand. I watched you, the love of my life use your gift to inspire others around you. I never wanted to marry a musician. We joke about it but it’s true. I never wanted to have to be away from you and share you with people, states and tours. Yet now we’re here and I couldn’t be more proud and more happier to watch others love you like I do. You’re doing it babe. You’re really doing it and you’re doing it your way without compromising who you are. I don’t know exactly where God is going to take you but I’m so glad He chose me to be able to go with you. 🖤
