@julia.flute felt lost at times with her instrument, but with the right guidance she fell in love with it again.

Now she shares those tools with her students to help them make their instruments sing.

Thanks for sharing Julia - Adam and our team are some of your biggest fans 🤩🤗💯

🎬 BTS to the very first episode of Fix That Flute with Adam Workman!

A little behind-the-scenes glimpse at what happens after the convention ends, when the floor is mostly empty, everyone running on fumes, and there’s still a flute that needs fixing.

Oh, and did we mention we had three minutes to make it to the President’s Party? 😬

This is the glamorous life of flute repair on the road. No more booth. No chairs. No tables. Just flutes, friends, and making it work as we go.

Would you watch more episodes of Fix That Flute? Let us know in the comments—and tell us what you’d like Adam to tackle next! 👇

What advice would you leave with the next generation of artists?

“Insecurity is the biggest waste of energy and time.”

Instead of worrying about what others think, or what might happen, take risks. Be yourself. Stay curious. Be present.

Because curiosity opens the door to connection: with others, with your art, and ultimately, with yourself. It gives you the freedom to discover something new.

So take the risk. Try. Explore. Make mistakes. Find your own voice.
And remember: you don’t have to have it all figured out. It’s fine. It’s all good. 💛

What would you tell the next generation of flutists and artists? Share your advice in the comments. 👇

What does it actually mean to help a flutist sound their best?

For Adam Workman, President & Founder of Flutistry, it means being part of the artist’s **pit crew**.

The instrument matters. How it responds matters. How it sounds in the hall matters.

But so does how the artist *feels* when they play it.

That’s the idea behind Flutistry: bringing **flute + artistry** together and using every resource available to help musicians understand their instruments, feel confident in their sound, and focus on what matters most, making extraordinary music.

Recorded at the 2026 National Flute Association Convention.

Flutists: what matters most to you when choosing an instrument - how it sounds, how it feels, or both?

I met @charlesjjacobs while working at @corepoweryoga back in 2022. I knew immediately he was rare, deeply grounded in his expertise of yoga asana and philosophy. What I didn’t know then was that he is also a master flutist and an Ayurvedic chef.

This is a glimpse from Day 3 of production, where Charles prepped family lunch for @drrezaghomi and the entire team.

We’re grateful to activate a partnership with his company, @comealivemethod, as our official wellness partner. Through this partnership, we will be curating bespoke somatic retreat experiences for our clients—inclusive of full 6-course Ayurvedic meals, Ashtanga yoga, and dedicated meditation programming.

This is what we mean by creative wellness at @metamindart. 🕊️🥗

Lost the competition, won the race. 🤗

It’s been a minute since I gave a business update, and honestly, the back-story is wild!

Last year, we lost over $700,000 in funding. That led to a brutal 9-month client drought. I entered the @entrepreneurofimpact competition to find a spark, hoping for the $25K prize for media publicity would support the launch our company rebrand.

I ended up placing 4th in the quarterfinals. But while I was sharing my story and campaigning, the universe had other plans:

1. 3 podcast invitations in just 30 days.
2. A 4-month Chase Bank mentorship program for operational capital.
3. A dream health-tech client that signed a contract worth double the competition’s grand prize.
4. New aligned business partners (including a long-time spiritual friend) to help launch our updated framework.

I went into this competition just trying to survive a drought. I came out of it with a fully aligned, revenue-generating, growing business model.

To everyone who voted, shared, and supported me in the WhatsApp groups and DMs—THANK YOU. Your energy made this happen. You’re now apart of the family, @metamindart is just getting started.

The lesson? Enter the room. Take the risk. Put yourself out there. What happens during the process is almost always bigger than the prize itself.

So yeah, I didn’t win... but I think I won. What do you think?
