POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What a blessing to be able to share my song “Lost & Found” today at our @wearethelifechurch community TrunkFest event!
.
🎥: @chelschatter 🙏🏽
.
To hear how this is resonating with people who have gone through or are going through this season just speaks to how I KNOW this is an assignment for me from God to share this truth that we often don’t talk about.
.
I’m planning on sharing more about this soon because this story must be told.
.
Thank you @souloftrin, @carla.denise__ & @_deniaaaaaa for holding me down on BGVs and thank you @justinbrownofficial, @dsg0408 and @rva.marlon for holding me down on this reprise. I like this feel A LOT and definitely want to revisit it soon!

Charge it to our heads…literally!

#objectpermanence is the ability to understand that an object exists AND continues to exist past our view.

Those with ADD & ADHD have limited object permanence, meaning that we will likely forget something exists if we aren’t exposed to it all the time.

This applies to people (& sometimes emotions)…it’s not that we don’t love you or even want to forget you.

If you’re not CONSISTENTLY in our faces or around us…we will lose the memory of your question/encouragement/gesture until we see you again. 🙃

Not too many tips to aid this but sharing the why can help others empathize. So slide this in a friend’s DMs to help them out.

let’s see where the night takes us.

I love a good random roam and that’s exactly what this night was!

Started at @carmaxpark for the end of the season celebration. @forkeepsakebooth gave us the cutest pictures!

Roamed to @copperhallrva for a show featuring pieces from @bluesagebridalrva

Ended at @mcloungerva to hear the ethereal @moneaofthemoon who kept me singing and dancing all night.

And to the girlies who can make any night fun: @smallorywoods @chelschatter @taylormadepr @taninasarchive @ciera_p @jordannnnnnnnn__

a few of my favorite things!

when I saw @unlockingrva was doing a silent party at a @gosquirrels game, I knew I had to be there!

A 17th St. Silent Party was our go to date night before we got married! We would bring our chairs, order food from Hot Chick (RIP), and spend the night listening to the DJs.

Getting to experience that same joy, while watching a game at the new @carmaxpark, annnnd spending some spontaneous time with my girls @smallorywoods & @chelschatter was the recipe for a perfect night.

Just please make sure you remember to turn in those headphones at the end of the night! 😅

🌱 Welcome to Fostering Wellness.

It’s okay not to be okay.

And when you’re not okay, knowing where to turn can make all the difference.

Fostering Wellness was created to help make that next step a little easier. We are a community resource dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and connecting individuals and families with helpful information, resources, providers, and community opportunities.

We believe people shouldn’t have to navigate the journey toward wellness alone or struggle to figure out where to begin.

Here, we’ll share mental health information, highlight available resources and providers, promote community events and educational opportunities, and create space for honest conversations about wellness.

We don’t provide mental health treatment or clinical services. We help connect you to resources that can support your journey. 🤝

Because sometimes the first step isn’t having all the answers.

Sometimes, it’s simply knowing where to look. 💚

Welcome to Fostering Wellness.

✨ Healing starts with conversation.

What’s a good story without the little things that color it in?

I love Behind the Scenes capture because it allows room for the laughter, the emotion, the unexpected moments that are not on a shot list…but they make up this beautiful life we’re given.

Here’s a peek into Sharla and Gregg’s story. 💙📹
Congratulations on a beautiful baby boy!
