FC 26!!!

I’ve had a whole month to come up with a caption good enough to describe this experience, but it’s just impossible to put it into words.

Every time I think Frosh is peak, it gives a little more. I’ve met the most inspiring campers, had the most admirable role models as my counselors and exec, and made my favorite memories that will play on repeat in my daydreams for life!!

To my C8 fam, thanks for reminding me what a joy and a privilege it is to be a Memphis tiger. You guys make me so proud and I cannot thank you enough for being the best campers ever. You all have the brightest futures ahead of you, and I’m so glad I got to witness the very beginning of them!!

To my cabin team, my Mario bros, I couldn’t have dreamed of a better team. I don’t know what I would do without you, y’all are the most joyful, dedicated people. You remind me of my why and literally give me life. Thank you for being by my side through it all and being the best friends and role models I could ask for!!

So much love for these people, so much love for this place. Frosh fam 4 life!!!

And just like that it’s over 🥹

To my fellow Exec, I couldn’t have asked to be placed on a better team. We went through so much behind the scenes yet still led 3 successful camps. Sam you were a great ED, making sure a lot of the extra behind the scenes things were taken care off. Odeth your connection with each counselor on a personal level was inspirational, a phenomenal DCD. Chloe the fact that you were a DMR yet also on duty nurse was amazing. The chemistry we had as a team was incomparable.

To the counselor team (my campers 🥹), as a member of Exec not once did I feel excluded, discouraged, or worried. You all killed it, and from the outside looking in, I wish I could’ve been a counselor on this team. Im so proud of the leaders you all have become. Even though im no longer with the program I hope you all still come to me with your funny stories and any advice that you need.

To all the campers of Frosh Camp 2026, thank you all for making me feel like a counselor again. Every time I took the stage y’all cheered me on, and y’all didn’t have to. I love all the different connections I made with you all. Whether it was basketball, time at the lake, or just having random conversations. Although some of our interactions were small and brief, I’m still glad they happened. I hope y’all enjoy Memphis and grow to be great, involved, leaders.
