POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

In times that we find ourselves in, not here, not there, as what we once gave meaning to begins to collapse. It’s time to make new friends with strangers and become lovers with many friends. Friends who love music, strangers who love art, lovers who love humanity which is inclusive above all: Naduve/ in-between/ among/ during/ in the middle of/ during 🫀

Come join us for a Deep Listening session where toes can wriggle and fingers can lay flat on floor, you can rest for a while and zone out, breathe a bit and relax at @sanctuarycreativestudio : a third space which is a disability-led space built for safety, access and settled nervous system in HSR Layout, Bangalore on 24th Oct 2026, 6pm to 9pm.

Listen to magical Saroj Kashyap @buzzychords release her new EP Mohana & Friends ; @anami.gram take us through her intimate storytelling led music In-Between; followed by @8gbram24 ‘s Rnb pop-rap melting pot of an album Crazy Stupid Pyaar.

@chughhchughhtrain who is an interdisciplinary somatic and expressive arts practitioner shall facilitate the quiet somatic relaxation with neurodiversity and disability as her own lived experience for us all.

The whole space is available to zone out in, accessible washroom and step-free entry, balcony and terrace, indoor room and reading nook, so it only makes sense to stay back for a potluck, share stories and meal?

You may not have met one but they definitely exist!! Aaaaand they’re much better at understanding how systemically challenging disability is instead of making you feel worse for not trying enough. #I’mmakingalist of MPH’s that live with and understand how to treat disability and offer the right care.
This list will not be exhaustive and hopefully ongoing but vetted so that you’re in the right hands hands 🤲🏻

Soundscapes at Sanctuary ep. 1

It has been a year full of changes. I’ve swept public parks. Done security shifts. I’ve produced full shows. Everything in between. This is one of those things in between. And it’s a great thing.

I’m here today because people took a chance on me and let me and my work shine. As an arts practitioner, i feel a responsibility to do the same with people who i believe in.
I could think of very few people who deserve it more than @dhenuuu does and I’m so glad she got the stage to do her thing. Having taught her how to play the clarinet, and seeing her reach the heights she has, it makes me very proud of her and I’m excited to see where she goes from here. Artist development is something i continue to explore and understand but the first step is in the first show. And she did us proud. Shoutout to @rahulsk_0110 for accompanying her too.

And very importantly, thanks to @sanctuarycreativestudio Anjali and @chughhchughhtrain for giving me a chance to curate and produce this show. It’s a pleasure to be working with you guys and the lovely space you run. The mission you work towards is what everyone needs and i am proud to help further this.
Huge props to @mohitagongala for these incredible shots and extremely good work ethic. Pleasure working with you!

What has all this taught me? No room for egos when there’s work to do. Details details details. And how to work Pull up banners and check tickets. If you can do this much, there’s probably room in the arts industry for you.

While i can’t change the industry, i can treat the people around me with respect and professionalism and make their experiences positive. And I’ll continue doing that.

More shows to come! Drop by!

A few things to know before signing up for this circle:

You don’t need to be an expert on your own neurodivergence.
You don’t need a formal diagnosis to know that the difficulties of being Neurodivergent resonate with you.If you have a diagnosis and are looking to meet others with similar experiences because you are tired of having to explain your experience to people who don’t quite get it then our space is for you.

You don’t have to speak.
Passing is always an option. Listening counts as participating.

You don’t have to share anything you’re uncomfortable sharing.

This isn’t group therapy.
It is a facilitated peer-support and community gathering, with a therapist helping hold the conversation and the space.

Come exactly as you are.
Stimming, moving around, needing quiet, stepping outside, using your phone, arriving late or leaving early are all okay. We want to make the gathering as accessible and low-pressure as possible.

Free to attend. Limited places.

📍 Sanctuary Creative Studio, HSR Layout, Bangalore
📅 Saturday, September 19

It’s real and it’s not a sign of weakness: Caregiver burnout.

Often the simplest explanation for what it is, is that when a caregiver’s responsibilities constantly outweigh their support, rest, and personal needs. This condition does not mean a person is weak or unloving. It simply shows they have carried too much weight for too long without enough help.

Caregiver burnout is a state of severe physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion caused by the continuous, long-term stress of looking after another person.
In order to make others feel seen, we would like to spotlight the effort and exhaustion of caregiving by sharing more stories. We would love for you to write to us, shot or long: submit your thoughts via the link in our bio or simply email/dm us.

What if home isn’t a place? What if it’s a direction?

This August, step into Homeward: more-than-human notes on migrating — an intimate, interactive, multisensory performance by artist Nitish Jain.

For an hour, let yourself leave the ordinary behind.

You won’t just watch this performance.

You’ll touch it. Smell it. Hear it. Taste it.
You’ll encounter migration through objects, sounds, scents, stories and sensations — and perhaps find yourself thinking differently about your own ideas of home.

🌿 30 August
🕓 5 pm
📍 Sanctuary Creative Studio, HSR Layout, Bengaluru

Come with curiosity.
Come with your senses open.
Come wondering where, exactly, you are going when you go home.

Come experience Homeward.
