I was going through my library and pulled out all the books I’ve saved over the years that seemed to share a common theme: personal growth, finding happiness, navigating change, and figuring out what’s next in life. Looking at them all together made me smile. Apparently, I’ve been searching for inspiration and answers for a long time! And now, at 60, I’ve written my own book, Empty Nesters, We’ve Got This! It’s funny how the things we’re drawn to over the years tell a story about where we’ve been, what we’ve struggled with, and who we’re becoming. Let’s not forget supporting one another. Maybe that’s why I love writing so much. We’re all trying to figure out this thing called life, one chapter at a time. I’m proud to know many of these authors personally. Or their moms! What book has made a difference in your life? I’d love to know! And I can’t wait to add new authors to my list!

Being busy can hide the gap between good and great. More drills. More tournaments. More camps. But is any of it showing up when it’s time to compete? Nick Tintle and I talked about questioning the methods you’ve inherited and being honest about what’s actually helping someone improve. That applies on the field and inside your business. A full calendar means very little if the work isn’t moving you toward the standard. Swipe through 8 lessons from our conversation. Pick one you need to put into practice.
