I have so much love and respect for these beautiful women who show up in embodiment of their present and illuminated selves🌕 Thank you for experiencing this beautiful evening together, as a collective, intentionally highlighting and reflecting what we have chosen to clear and release, that no longer serves our BEing, and what we are bringing forward to share in the light of the fruits of our labor, realizing the seeds we had planted are the result of tremendous growth and personal development. Practitioner Self-Care Sessions in Scottsdale — This Weekend I’m a licensed aesthetician with more than 20 years of experience, Certified Yoga Therapist, E-RYT 500, Reiki practitioner, and longtime wellness professional. This weekend, I’m opening a limited number of reduced-rate appointments specifically for fellow practitioners who would benefit from time to receive. September introductory rate: $35 for a 50-minute individualized session. Available appointments: Friday, September 4 12:30 PM 1:35 PM 2:40 PM 3:45 PM 4:50 PM Sunday, September 6 12:30 PM 1:35 PM 2:40 PM 3:45 PM 4:50 PM Additional appointments are available Friday, September 11. Practitioners may reserve up to two introductory sessions during September at $35 each. If you reserve two, your second appointment may be another individualized self-care session or a Private Yoga Therapy Session. Sessions are individualized and may incorporate restorative fascia work, acupressure, Reiki, mindful relaxation, and other supportive practices based on your needs and my professional scope. @dogstarband Phoenix @bretdomrose @robmailhouse #keanureeves as the fellas get ready to take the stage in Phoenix year later-tonight 🎸 There’s a story that goes along with this one… a story about manifesting and making things happen, then getting to the perfect moment &, well, being redirected by the universe a bit… Last summer, I was visiting my family in Canada and I came across an old diary from 1991. I had written Keanu’s name all over it… it was my day planner for my summer castings that were given to me by my agent @elitenyc at the time… if I remember correctly, the film #PointBreak was about to be released and there was a summer premiere in #NYC… I was determined to go, and I also found out that Keanu was in a band called #Dogstar - great! I was determined to check out the band too that summer…zero doubt. 🙌🏻 Going to skip a bit of life in between and fast-forward a little bit… as I was looking over the diary I went to answer a message on my phone and somehow getting sidetracked, I received a notification with an advertisement for Dogstar in Phoenix which was scheduled for very shortly after I arrived home from my trip. I didn’t know how I was going to do it but I immediately declared, “Okay, I’m going to. I got my hands on a ticket. Without going too much into detail, I met challenge after challenge, head on leading up to getting there, but it happened! I did it all. This reel is my footage. I have so much more, but I chose some of the coolest moments. It was a small and intimate venue… and I will leave out the juicy details of my ultimately unforgettable ridiculousness 💣 after the show…I think I will save it for my upcoming writing project on Substack. 🤯 Tomorrow is not promised, I am very clear with this understanding, and I can tell you that I truly have been gifted this life with some kind of a meaning and purpose to make things happen- bring things to life when divine timing intervenes and I have every bit of faith that it’s going to happen again as I continue to align with what’s for me, following my greatest excitement! As with all seasonal changes, We adapt. I don’t notice adaptations as going through the motions, but of being very aware of my consciousness, my senses and every moment of emotion that comes in, not judging any of it, not attaching to any of it… Feeling all of it. I reflect, and I have the most profoundly detailed memories, where smells, tastes, sounds…those colors…the crunch of the leaves beneath my feet. I’m there. Runway - CLEAR. As I run at full speed, As fast as my little four year old legs can go, The target on that neatly raked pile of brown and orange leaves in my foresight, I gain momentum with absolute intention. Ready for takeoff! My feet seem to lift off as I launch my little body into the air and everything slows completely to a single feeling of excitement, of elation, joy and, well, fearlessness. I was floating. In this moment, the one that transcends space and time, as my body began to descend and my feet touched the leaves, I felt the glorious explosion of brown and orange leaves like fireworks complete with crackling and swishing, swirling sounds followed by bursts of giggles and boisterous laughter of the preceding planes that had landed exploding, once again, but in synchronized joy. I’m there. I’m present. Here and now. In stillness and gratitude each day that I can go there, anywhere, actually, in complete lucidity. Did you come with me? Nobody cares about the explosion of leaves from the neatly raked pile. They were all laughing with us too as they raked new piles throughout the yard… …and then the biggest leaf battle you could imagine ensued… There may be no crunchy brown and orange leaves to rake in the desert, but there will forever be that pile of leaves in my heart. What a blessing to have shared the last 10 days with you in your element! Safe travels home Pabloooo. I’ve always had this internal struggle about how I should do certain things. In this case it pertains to my workouts, likely due to years of programming of someone else’s perception, belief or advice I chose to accept… Lately I’ve been challenged with simply getting on the mat. Be truly absorbed! No distractions! Music is a distraction! Music? No music? Well this says it all. My jam came on… I’m extra motivated, energetic and having fun. There are times when I practice without and I also feel I am affected and my workouts are effective…on my body, mind and spirit… …but that music. It energizes me and I can’t deny it! It also takes me right back in spirit, to when I first heard “Fight For Your Right” and it became a rebellious anthem that sticks to this day, to this moment, and prompts me to stay present with this spirit.
