👩🏽‍🌾🥬 It’s Farming Friday… and BABY, I am NOT a happy farmer today!! 😤🤬

SOMETHING has been having an ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BUFFET on MY KALE!! 🥬👀🐛 And whoever it is…we need to TALK! 😂

Listen, I have a whole NEW level of respect for farmers! 🙌🏽 I don’t know how they do this day in and day out…planting, nurturing, watering, and watching their hard work get eaten up by uninvited guests! 😩

Now, y’all know I’m NOT a quitter! 💪🏽 So, I’m gonna give this farming thing a little more time because I KNOW I can do it! But these little critters are TESTING my patience!

Calling ALL my gardening and farming experts…HELP A SISTA OUT!! 🤣🌱 What’s the secret to keeping these unwanted dinner guests away from my kale WITHOUT any pesticides?

Stay tuned…because the battle for MY KALE has officially begun! 🥬🥊😂

👩🏽‍🌾💜 It’s Farming Friday, y’all!! 🥬🌿

Now, you KNOW I love sharing ways to incorporate natural goodness into our everyday lives! And today, I’ve got something you may want to learn more about! 👀

🧊🍵 BITTER LEAF ICED TEA!!

Bitter leaf has been used for generations in traditional wellness practices and is being studied for its potential benefits in supporting healthy blood sugar levels. 🌱

For those managing diabetes or prediabetes, it’s worth learning about, but remember—natural doesn’t automatically mean safe for everyone, and herbal teas aren’t a replacement for your prescribed treatment.

💜 And here’s the BEST part! I’m showing some LOCAL LOVE to Rosette, the creator behind Nzeba Table! 🙌🏽

I LOVE discovering local entrepreneurs who are bringing traditional ingredients and wellness into the spotlight!

🌿 Have you ever tried Bitter Leaf Tea? Drop a comment and let me know! 👇🏽

👩🏽‍🌾💜 It’s Farming Friday — Rio de Janeiro edition! 🇧🇷🌿

Of course I had to check out the fresh herbs while I’m here…and YES, they’re going straight into the drinks! 🍹😂 Fresh herbs just hit different!

Now you already know my wheels are turning…🤔 I’m thinking when I get back to VA, it may be time to set up an indoor herb growing system at Rx Catering! 🌿👩🏽‍🍳

Fresh basil, mint, cilantro, rosemary…straight from our own little indoor “farm” to the Rx Kitchen!

The farm-to-kitchen journey continues…even on vacation! 💜

One thing about Rx Catering…we’re going to show up and show OUT! 😍🙌🏽

Still one of my favorite charcuterie tables to date — and the fact that it was created for the Recording Academy makes it even more special. 🎶✨🧀🍇🥖

Beautiful food, great presentation, and an amazing client…that’s always a win in my book!

I love opportunities like this where the food doesn’t just taste good — it helps create the whole experience. 💫

Definitely a favorite memory for the Rx Catering books!

👩🏽‍🌾 It’s Farming Friday!!

Who knew I’d be out here living my little farmer life?! 😂

We’ve been visiting local farms, learning so much, and now it’s time to bring all that goodness home to Rx Catering. And we’re officially starting with our FIRST crop — KALE! 🥬🙌🏽

And apparently, we picked a good one! Kale loves the cooler weather, so it’s the perfect crop for us to start growing as we head into fall and winter. 🍂❄️

Growing your own food doesn’t have to be complicated either — yes, YOU can do it too! 🌱

Now let’s see if I can keep this kale growing long enough to make it from the garden straight into the Rx Kitchen! 👩🏽‍🍳🥬

Stay tuned…because it’s giving farm 👩🏽‍🌾 to Rx Kitchen 👩🏽‍🍳 and I’m here for it! 💜
