POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Looking back at our first full weekend at @3hallpublichouse we can already feel the magic happening in this space.

We have so much appreciation for everyone who played and came out to enjoy the events. @corywking & I ( @saulthesinger ) want to personally thank each of you for helping give us the confidence that what we are building is important to this community. We have so many ideas we want to try and all of the support encourages us to take risks and try new things.

Huge shoutout to @3hallpublichouse for allowing us to create something meaningful and being there as team members to support and grow this with us.

Week 2 of the Unplugged Open Mic Series did not disappoint. We witnessed a group of talented musicians captivate the audience at @3hallpublichouse last night. Every artist brought something special and it was a pleasure to witness. Thank you to each one of you for coming and sharing yourselves with all of us.

Huge thanks to the many of you that showed up, many of whom stayed for all of the performances. We urge all of you that enjoy live music to continue to support by attending shows and streaming our local artists songs and albums.

The energy in the room was electric last night, and we all felt it. We’re doing these every Friday from 6pm-10pm. We will see you all next week!

Meet Cory!

Cory is the Co-Founder and President of the Pink Wig Foundation. Since the inception of Pink Wig, Cory has been an ally, spokesperson and voice behind Tracy Dinh's legacy. Cory plays a huge role at the foundation by taking care of delegation and implementation of important tasks with the Board of Directors, assisting in the development of crucial partnerships and relationships with local businesses and community members, as well as sharing our mission each and every day with his friends and family to keep Tracy's legacy thriving.

Reason for joining?
When Tracy was diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Cervical Cancer, we needed money to help with all of the costs of receiving her treatments. Being just 25 years of age at her diagnosis, we were just starting our lives and realized that if it was a stressful financial sitiation for us, it likely was for other young women experiencing cancer diagnoses.

Pink Wig was born to help raise funds for Tracy. Cory made a promise to Tracy to continue the work of the Pink Wig Foundation for as long as he could in order to help as many women as possible experiencing this terrible disease.

A little about Cory:
"In my spare time I love to hang with the fam jam, play guitar, and of course, golf!"

Favourite Quote?
"Stop talking about it and do it!" - Tracy Dinh

Cory, the Board of Directors is so grateful to have you steering the ship. Without your passion and drive, it wouldn't be nearly as possible to help so many women in Saskatchewan. Your hard work is noticed, appreciated and we couldn't do it without you! With Tracy's heart at the front of our work, Pink Wig Foundation lives on through you. Thank you for everything you do to keep our mission thriving!💖💖💖

With 2020, a particularly challenging year, coming to an end - we wanted to reflect on, and evaluate, our success for the year. With your help, we absolutely crushed our goals - and we can't wait to see what 2021 has in store for us! See below what PinkWig President, Cory King, has to say.

"I promised Tracy that we would raise as much money as we could and help out as many women in need as possible. For Tracy and every single woman that the Pink Wig sponsors - we owe it to them to put our best effort forward." - Cory King (President, The Pink Wig Foundation)

We hope to sponsor MANY more women in Saskatchewan in 2021. Cheers to all of you for helping us make 2020 a year to remember. PinkWig has officially sponsored over 30 women to date, and we couldn't have done it without you.
