It’s voter guide season! We’re grateful to all of the publications and organizations that put in the work to make democracy legible — and for recommending LA elect a City Attorney who will protect the people, not the powerful.

This moment demands moral clarity, not cautious politicking. WE DO NOT WANT WAR. WE DO NOT WANT TO FUND GENOCIDE.

With Ballots coming in for California I thought it would be helpful to do my part in putting up a post for those who've asked, for everyone to save, come back to & utilize.
If your confused this is a helpful voting guide for the props, & you can check @courageca for more information!

Don't forget to vote @becerraforgovernor 💙

ICE is out of control and surging in California just as voters are turning in their ballots. It’s more important than ever we have a fighter that will work to abolish this rogue agency. #Vote #vota #sacramento #elkgrove

To our fellow Americans in the Golden State:

We’re sorry about what went down here this week. We put together a care package for you to show we’re all not like that.

Please find enclosed:
›› Empyrean Harvest Ale from Lincoln. You’ve earned a drink after the week you’ve had.

›› A Rebel Sandhill Crane Alliance shirt from RAYGUN. Our resistance has wings, and it comes back every spring.

›› A “Someone in Nebraska Loves Me” card and a “Nebraska: It’s not for everyone” sticker, also from RAYGUN. We’re not cheering when someone talks about blowing up two American cities.

›› A Blue Dot yard sign from Omaha, as proof that our map has more than one color in the Electoral College.

›› Kool-Aid. We invented it, and when it comes to Trump, *plenty* of us aren’t drinking it.

›› Your commission in the Nebraska Navy. We’re landlocked and it’s made up, and you’re home to the actual Pacific Fleet. Let’s call it a mutual defense pact.

– With love, the majority of Nebraskans (who didn’t clap)

AI policy shouldn’t be written BY Big Tech FOR Big Tech.

We’re leading with partners across the country to call for strong, independent AI oversight that protects people first, holds companies accountable, and puts the public interest first.
