TV Review: The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
Genre: Action, Adventure, Drama, Superhero
Rating: 8/10

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was such a great addition to the MCU, especially because it explores what happens after Steve Rogers passes the Captain America shield to Sam Wilson. Sam struggles with the idea of taking on that responsibility, while Bucky is trying to move forward from his past and figure out who he wants to be. I really enjoyed seeing both characters get more development and learning more about what they are dealing with beyond the action.

The dynamic between Sam and Bucky was one of my favorite parts of the show. Their personalities are so different, and the banter between them adds some much-needed humor to an otherwise serious story. Watching them slowly learn to work together made their partnership even more enjoyable.

I also liked how the series explored what it means to be Captain America and the weight that comes with carrying that symbol. The show touches on some serious themes involving identity, responsibility, racism, and how the world treats people differently. The action scenes were great, and the story gave both Sam and Bucky meaningful moments to grow as characters.

Overall, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was an action-packed and emotional MCU series that gave Sam and Bucky the spotlight they deserved. I loved their friendship, the character development, and the way the story sets up Sam’s future in the MCU. It made me even more excited to see what comes next for these characters!

20 years in Brooklyn.

It’s hard to know what to say about a place that has been home for most of my life, the place where i’ve made lifelong friends, built my careers and grown exponentially.

Brooklyn will always be a home to me, and after a very strong run, I’m proud to start a new chapter that marks its own homecoming of sorts.

I’m returning to New England ~ now to Providence, to begin my role as a full-time professor in the Illustration Department at the one and only @risd1877 . I’m incredibly excited for what’s ahead, even if leaving Brooklyn is bittersweet.

Much love to the nation of Brooklyn. ❤️Thanks for it all.
