This journey is one we can’t make without you. Thank you for holding our hand through it.

Since 2004, the Doernbecher Freestyle initiative has worked with hundreds of kids to bring their stories to life through their own signature Nike shoes that will benefit their community.

Owen’s passion for dirt biking shows up in the mud-splatter pattern that extends from the toe cap on his Air Max 1/97.

Aurora reimagined her Structure Plus as her own dream hotel in Japan. She chose a soft, faux fur on the collar representing carpets and a room key charm bracelet.

Royce competes in team bull roping, just like his parents. This family tradition is reflected in the braided laces; his favorite belt has been recreated on the ankle strap of his AF1 Mid.

Kamoryn’s GT Future has a color-fading pink and purple upper that he can see with his specific color-blindness. The goldfish details throughout nod to Kamoryn being under anesthesia post-surgery and seeing the animal swimming through the walls.

Avery’s Air Jordan 11 Low IE has a midsole full of characters Avery drew herself, representing all the cute aliens she designed, with a main character plushie she named “Greg.”

In a video going viral on X, Pratt called Elon Musk “the most successful African American of all time.” Let’s set the record straight.

Musk is a white man born in Pretoria, South Africa, in 1971 under apartheid. His grandfather moved the family there in 1950 and was an open supporter of apartheid. In 2024, The Washington Post reported Musk worked in the US illegally while starting his first company in the 1990s, which he denies. Tesla has faced multiple lawsuits over racism against Black workers at its California factory, and Musk has pushed “white genocide” claims about South Africa.

African American describes the descendants of enslaved Africans who built this country. Elon Musk is not that.
