Turns out my brain fog has a co-conspirator. 👇 Iron deficiency. Because perimenopause wasn't doing enough on its own apparently. It decided to bring a friend. And come to find out a LOT of us women are iron deficient during perimenopause and menopause and nobody is connecting those dots until you're already standing in the laundry room for the fourth time this week with absolutely no idea why. I just want to go back. Just a few years. Back to when my brain fired on all cylinders and I didn't need a GPS to find my glasses that are on my face. Is that too much to ask? 😭 But here's what I know for sure — we are in this together. Every misfire. Every blank stare. Every word that was RIGHT there and then just evaporated. This is ours ladies. Exclusively ours. And men? I see you wanting in on this. You don't. Trust me. 😂 This week's Not So Deep Thoughts is still live and this conversation is for every woman whose brain has been doing its own thing lately with zero explanation. 🎙️Episode is live now. https://bit.ly/Reinventing-Rumbley-Brain-Fog Drop your most recent brain fog moment below. The weirder the better. We are building a community of evidence here. #NotSoDeepThoughts #ReinventingRumbley #BrainFog #Perimenopause #WomenOver50 #MidlifeWomen #Podcast

I walked into my laundry room and stood there like a golden retriever who forgot why they came inside. 😂 No reason. No memory of what I came for. Just standing there staring at the dryer like it might give me answers. Then I couldn't find my glasses. They were on my face. I am 52 years old and I am turning into a grandmother without the grandkids and it is genuinely freaking me out. 😭 But here's what the research says — 60% of women going through perimenopause and menopause experience brain fog they cannot explain. 60%. So if you have been standing in rooms wondering what you came for, losing words mid-sentence, walking into kitchens and forgetting why, driving somewhere and briefly blanking on where you were going — You are not losing your mind. You are losing estrogen. Which is apparently the same thing for a minute. 😂 New episode of Not So Deep Thoughts is LIVE right now and we are going all the way in on this one. Tell me your most unhinged brain fog moment below because I need to feel less alone in this. 👇 🎙️Episode is live now. https://bit.ly/Reinventing-Rumbley-Brain-Fog #NotSoDeepThoughts #ReinventingRumbley #BrainFog #Perimenopause #WomenOver50 #MidlifeWomen #Podcast

Women don't just fear being told no when they negotiate. We fear being called pushy. 👇 And that fear is real because the social punishment for it is real. A man walks in and says this is what I'm worth and you're going to benefit from hiring me at this number. He's confident. He's decisive. He knows what he wants. A woman does the exact same thing? "She's a little much, isn't she?" And here's the part I want to be honest with you about because I think it matters. I can sit here and sound as steadfast and confident as the day is long. I'm talking to you. This is easy. This is my space. But put me across from a potential employer or client with real money on the table? Poopy Pants France over here. 😂 Stomach churning. Voice cracking slightly. Brain running a thousand miles an hour. The confidence is still there underneath all of it. But so is the very human, very real fear of being perceived as too much. And that's not weakness. That's something we were taught to carry. This week's episode is still live and this is the most honest part of the whole conversation. Have you ever shrunk your ask because you were afraid of being seen as pushy? Drop it below. 👇 🎧 New episode is up. https://bit.ly/Reinventing-Rumbley-Women-and-Money #ReinventingRumbley #WomenInBusiness #KnowYourWorth #WomenOver50 #NegotiationTips #Podcast

How you feel about money right now has almost nothing to do with money. It has everything to do with how you were raised. 👇 Think about it. Were you raised in a house where money was talked about openly? Or was it a source of stress, shame, or silence? Did you watch the adults around you negotiate confidently? Or did you learn that wanting more was greedy? That asking was uncomfortable? That you should just be grateful for what you got? Because that stuff lives in your body long after you've grown up and started earning your own income. Nature. Nurture. Both. And until you actually look at your money story — where it came from, what you were told, what you watched — you will keep soft-pedaling your rate, shrinking your ask, and wondering why confidence feels so hard when it's time to talk numbers. Read a book on it. Seriously. There are whole books on your money mindset and they will crack something open in you that no salary negotiation tip ever could. This week's episode of Reinventing Rumbley is still live and this part of the conversation is the one that hits deepest. What were you taught about money growing up? Drop it below honestly. 🎙️ Episode is live now.— Women & Money #ReinventingRumbley #MoneyMindset #KnowYourWorth #WomenOver50 #WomenInBusiness #Podcast

How do you walk into a room and say what you're worth without sounding arrogant? That's the question. And honestly? That's the whole problem. 👇 Because I know what I bring to the table. I know my track record. I know what I've built, what I've sold, and what I've turned around for other people. And I still sometimes feel weird saying the number out loud. That's not a confidence problem. That's a conditioning problem. We have been taught our whole lives that asking for what we're worth is bragging. That knowing your value is arrogance. That a woman who states her price clearly is somehow too much. And that is exactly the crux of why so many of us are still underpaid, undervalued, and over-delivering for people who never had a problem saying their number. Today's episode of Reinventing Rumbley is LIVE right now and we are getting into all of it. How to identify your worth. How to negotiate it. How to say the number without apologizing for it. 🎙️ For the employees, the consultants, the founders, the fractional executives, and every woman who has ever soft-pedaled her rate and then been mad at herself for it. This one's for you. What's the hardest part of asking for what you're worth? Drop it below. 👇 Go watch it. 🎙️ New episode of Reinventing Rumbley is up NOW. Women & Money #ReinventingRumbley #WomenInBusiness #KnowYourWorth #WomenOver50 #MidlifeWomen #Podcast

We are finally asking for the raise just as much as men are. And we're getting told no 38% more often. 👇 Let that stat sit for a second. Women are walking into those salary negotiations. We are showing up. We are asking for what we're worth. And we are being turned down at a rate that our male counterparts simply are not experiencing. So what do we do with that? Because the problem isn't that we're not asking anymore. We fixed that part. The problem is what happens when we do ask and the answer is still no. That's a different kind of fight. And it's one nobody's talking about clearly enough. New episode of Reinventing Rumbley drops this Wednesday and we are getting into all of it. 🎙️ Have you ever been told no on a raise or salary negotiation that you know a man in the same role would have gotten? What is in your reinvention closet? Actually open it up. When's the last time you even looked? Maybe you're just beginning this whole thing. Maybe you haven't cracked that door in years. Either way, it's time to go through it. Here's how you start: what do you love to do? Not what pays the bills, not what looks good on paper. What do you actually love. And just as important, what's not your thing. For me it's easy: dog trainer. Nope. That hat does not fit, never will, and that's fine. Knowing what's not yours is half the work. So open the closet. Try a few hats on. See what's still you and what you've outgrown. What's your thing? Tell me in the comments, I actually read them. 🎙️ Watch the full episode now! https://bit.ly/reinventing-rumbley-reinvention-closet #Reinvention #ReinventionCloset #WhatsYourThing #MidlifeReinvention #ReinventingRumbley

Purpose is found in motion. Not in thinking about it, not in planning it perfectly, not in waiting until you feel ready. In motion. You have to keep moving through the water. And look, it's okay to be stuck for a minute. It's okay to feel that heavy, stuck feeling and not fight it. You can grovel for a second. You're allowed to have that moment. But then you gotta get up. Big girl pants on. Rock and roll. Here's the part that gets skipped a lot: how you feel about yourself runs everything. Your brain, your choices, your next move, all of it starts with the story you're telling yourself right now. So if you want something to change, the thinking alone won't do it. You have to move. What's one small thing you can do today just to get back in motion? New episode is up. https://bit.ly/reinventing-rumbley-reinvention-closet 🎧 #Reinvention #PurposeInMotion #GetUp #MidlifeReinvention #ReinventingRumbley

Life deals you blows you didn't see coming. You get fired out of nowhere. Can't pay your bills. Lose your house. Shit happens, every day, all day long, to good people doing everything right. The question was never whether it happens. It's how you get back up. How you maneuver. How you actually pivot instead of just saying the word. New episode is up. What do you do when you're stuck in the in-between? Not fired, not retired. Not who you were, not sure who's next. Just... in between. I'm right there with you. In my 50s, trying on hats out of my own reinvention closet to see what still fits. If you're in that stage too — between careers, between passions, between versions of yourself — this episode is for you. So — what's your hat? What are you actually trying to do? Go watch it. 👇 🎙️ New episode of Reinventing Rumbley is up NOW. https://bit.ly/reinventing-rumbley-reinvention-closet #Reinvention #MidlifeReinvention #WhatsNext #PersonalGrowth #ReinventingRumbley

I used to think feeling stuck meant something was wrong with me. Now I think about it like a reinvention closet. The hats that used to fit? Don't fit anymore. Different vibes, different outfits, different you. For years I made that mean I was failing. Turns out it just means I was figuring shit out. Same as a lot of you right now. So — what's your hat? Doug asked me to stop by the PO box and drop something at UPS. Two stops. Maybe 14 minutes total. And I literally woofed. 😂 Like a dog. Out loud. Involuntarily. He goes — "Did you just woof?" And I said — "I've got a lot going on." And he looks at me with that face. That face that says — what exactly do you have going on right now? Which is the WRONG face to give me. Because suddenly I'm defending myself for feeling completely slammed by 2.75 things that each take approximately 7 minutes flat. But that's the reinvention tax nobody talks about. When you're in the middle of rebuilding yourself — your brain is FULL. Even when your calendar looks empty to everyone else. The mental load of becoming someone new is exhausting in a way that doesn't show up on a to-do list. So yes Doug. I woofed. And I stand by it. 🐾😂 🎙️Episode is live now. https://bit.ly/not-so-deep-thoughts-reinvention-tax Tell me your most embarrassing overreaction to something completely small while you were going through something big.
