Psalm 91 reminds us that God is our refuge and protector. 🙏🏽 Sometimes His protection looks like keeping us from trouble, and other times it looks like getting us out of the trouble we got ourselves into. 😅

But we also have a part to play. We have to be intentional about where we dwell, making room to remain in His presence and under His covering.

The question is: Are we positioning ourselves to dwell in the presence of the One who protects us?

In Psalm 34, we’re reminded that God doesn’t just deliver us from difficult situations. He also cares for the fear, anxiety, and emotional weight we may carry long after we’ve been delivered.

Our prayer is this: Lord, help us and heal us from what You’ve already delivered us from.

Sometimes rest looks like surrendered silence. In Psalm 62, David waited quietly in the presence of God in his time of trouble. May we all learn how to quiet our souls and trust God to be our refuge.

Psalm 46 reminds us that true peace isn’t the absence of trouble. It’s knowing that God is with us in the midst of it. He doesn’t promise to remove every difficult thing from our lives, but He does promise to be present through it all.

When the world around us feels uncertain, we can find refuge in the God who remains.

God will provide all of our needs, so we must make sure that we are declaring and expecting good things over our lives. There is power in your words.

Seek the Lord with confidence. Remember what’s he’s already done. Request what you need for him to, and know that he will do it again and again. 🙏🏾

Approximately 1.2 to 1.6million NY’ers experience food insecurity with Brooklyn having the largest concentration.

Help us close the gap by making a donation that will allow us to continue our work as well as expanding into 7 NYC schools in September.

Psalm 100 reminds us why we serve: because we are beneficiaries of God’s goodness, love, and faithfulness. 🙌🏽

We don’t serve out of obligation, we serve with joy. Joy to serve Him. Joy to serve His people. Joy because we know who He is and all He has done.

“Serve the Lord with gladness.” — Psalm 100:2
