So many little networking moments already in 2025 so we have some new faces/connections on here!

I’ll introduce myself just in-case the room was loud or I got lost in the sea of vendor faces you met a weekend ago. Also if you’re a client, hi 🫶🏼 I’m extremely glad you’re here and paying attention. This season is already a season of refreshment and it’s going to be fun to talk about.

I’ve been in this wonderful industry for ten years now. TEN YEARS. There are some moments where I feel that expertise run through me so naturally it brings instant joy and other moments where I feel like I’m starting all over again in comparison to a market that turns itself continually over and over.

But regardless of the years or trends, I strive to bring intentionality into your experience with me. Your wedding day is not about photos, it’s about commitment. Your marriage is not about your wedding day, it’s about legacy. Shooting candids while surrounded by your friends and creating art during your portrait time, has the same level of importance to me. Supporting you, in all your big and little moments, is what thrills me and honestly; it’s what I’m best at.

I’m really, really good at celebrating.

Beyond weddings, I love meeting new people and choosing experiences. Currently, I’m obsessed with tracking my time in the sun, kayaking, and feeling my heart race in cold water. Leaning into my Scandinavian heritage is always top priority. My firm standing ground is my faith in Christ, both in business and personal life. It’s where I hope my kindness comes from.

If I’ve met you recently, it was good to meet you.
If I have yet to meet you, I hope that happens soon.
If we’ve know each other a long time, thank you for your encouragement and support.

And I hope EVERYONE is enjoying summer ☀️
Talk to you soon!

Most of my camera roll from April was screenshots of things I should maybe buy for the wedding and haven’t yet. These are the in between ones 😂😅

August: got engaged, went on a trip to Florida, photographed 6 weddings, went to the state fair, took a day trip to boji, then ended on a trip to Scandinavia. 😅🥹🤍

After almost ten years in this industry - no matter what seasons bring, I know this is the right thing for me to be doing because of these random three facts..

1. | I feel so entirely invigorated when I get the opportunity to work face to face with you and your families. Engagement sessions, in-person inquiries and final planning meetings, and the 8-10 hours of your wedding day always leave me smiling. Smiling, even when exhausted. I’m a people person, through and through. Connection has and always will drive me + bring purpose to my work.

2. | Problem solving, advocating, and achieving goals makes me feel like I’m flyinggg. The challenges of a wedding day, from the practical to the creative, really do fuel me. It’s a delight to serve/help/create. I’m not inViNCibLe but I love making things easy and being of use to you.

3. | I was exhausted this morning after a full weekend of shooting in Minnesota. I drove over 10 hours total, scouted locations, shot an engagement session, woke up to shoot a full wedding day - and still at the coffee shop this morning, jumped at the chance to talk all things wedding with a stranger holding a @minnesotabride magazine. You can’t quench the love I have for the industry and all the good humans that can be found in it.

That’s only a couple main reasons! As always, grateful to be here and doing all the things, even with everything that can come with it. Best job, best life outcome that I never expected.

Happy to be your photographer!

Sometimes, my heart just swells as I stand there in the frame of your wedding day. The talking, the artists at work, and the whole day ahead of us.

Brides - thank you for letting me work with you, each year is a gift.

I found this photo while storing Kelsey + James’ wedding and it was clearly accidentally taken during portraits and.. I freaking love it. Wedding days give me so much energy and apart from hiking/kayaking/reading in the sun - are what I love doing on weekends.

And since my engagement on Instagram is so low right now and no one is paying attention, let me scream -

I LOVE MY JOB AND LOVE THIS INDUSTRY AND WANT TO SMILE LIKE THIS ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE.

Thanks guys haha, appreciate it 🥹🫶🏼🙃

HEY EVERYONE HERE - just thank you.

Thank you for letting me experience my dream job every single day. Thank you for being some of my greatest cheerleaders when life has gotten hard or discouraging. Thank you for your accountability, praise, kindness, and enthusiasm. Thanks for your hugs at the start of wedding days and your teary eyes at the end of them. Thank you for following, sharing, commenting, and enjoying. Thanks for your recommendations, the cards in the mail, and the handwritten notes.

Thank you for those that have intentionally involved me in family - either the one you’re growing or the one you’ve been born into.

Fellow vendors - thanks for being good friends. Thanks for your wisdom, creativity, motivation, and success. I wouldn’t be here without you,

I don’t take any of it for granted. I’m working hard behind the scenes to constantly grow, create intentional work, and send as much as you’ve given to me right back to you.

You are the best.

Love, ME!
