When an IG story is so good you just have to put it on the mantle ❤

Big ✌ @wild_scot for signing up to our Epping Forest 50km in October.

Camino Ultra events are designed to be a fully supportive introduction into the world of ultramarathons. We all dream of being in the Beacons, Lakes, Highlands but we also need to cut our spurs. We introduce superb racing here in London with a beautifully supportive community - check us out on camino-ultra @strava

Epping 50km will still come with plenty of trail, forest and (we 🙏) mud fun. Some great elevation and fast descents. Aid stations from the wonderful @komfuel and worldclass timing from @event_racedirector - with live splits on course for family and friends following.

Fantastic 📸📸📸 and a pretty good chance we will all we sharing a 🍻🍻 together at the #finish 😍😍

Every signup will get a tree planted by those legends @treesnottees 🌱🌱🌱

So join @wild_scot and sign up today ❤✌

Multi-distance runner @damocarr83 Damian Carr loves any surface, but has a soft spot for trail running. He has completed several trail running races, including several ultra-runs. He only got into running in 2006 after taking part in a local race and finishing in what he modestly describes as a ‘half decent time’ with no specific prior training. ⠀
Damian gives us his top tips for people starting out in trail running and explains how using NuroKor helps his recovery, training and staying #Ready4More. ✅ ⠀

NEW RISING STARS episode 4 of our Legends podcast series with the beautiful @damocarr83

anchor.fm/camino-ultra

We absolutely loved chatting with Damian about his first few years in the ultramarathon world. He candidly shares his mistakes, what he's learnt working with his coach John O'Regan, his brilliant second place in last year's @severnvalleyevents Gloucester 24 Elite race (the #whodunnit banana skin on Lane 1) and his mad-cap adventures racing Hayden Hawks, Elliot Cardin & Camille Herron at the Black Canyon 100km in Arizona.

Even if you have no connection to running you can just swim in Damian's pool of positivity - it's am uplifting place to be ❤

So here we go, 9 for 2020..... it’s been quite a year, but in many ways, one to look back on with some fondness.
.
.
I don’t post many pics of family on here, but if I did they would be my top nine without doubt.... they have made this year.
.
.
So then... 1-9...
.
.
1 - best of all I am so stoked to be part of Team COROS. Great tech, great people and big things coming in the next year!
.
2 - FKTs so we have missed races and taken to anything to make up for it. I did two FKTs. This one was shipwrights way, good times.
.
3 - the most social running I’ve done this year with @runningadv met some rad folks @trainertrails @littleoruns
.
4 - more coros team stuff, and meeting some amazing peeps. This is one of my faves @damocarr83
.
5 - fat to fit pic, nothing special but it’s nice to be body confident now
.
6 - @portsmouthrunningpodcast check it out! Great poddy based on Pompey locals. I talked for two hrs about running... good if you can’t sleep.
.
7 - with @centurionrunning sdw100 being cancelled twice I decided with a mate Alex to try a century.... #UTQE 100 miles, 5300m of climb.... got it done.
.
8 & 9 - my favourite race series and best guys on the trail running scene @maverickrace. Peaks ultra and Jurassic Coast were my only two races this year... but couldn’t ask for two better ones.... great peeps, great courses, and they really have the same mentality and ethos as I do about trail running. Can’t wait to run with these guys again soon (@maverickrunproject ?!?)
.
.
So that’s that.... it could have been a lot worse! I’ve loved seeing everyone get through this and seeing positivity and achievement each time I scroll through my feed... you’re all awesome, and soon we’ll be smashing it in a more normal way!
.
Big love and happy 2021 - GD xxx

We might be in a weird time but there’s nothing stopping me from birthday laps!!! 33 miles around Vicky park - a mile for every year, chatting alllll the way and all done before 11:30am (with a sprint finish) and celebrating with mulled wine and cake outside 😂

Doubles up as a farewell to my London mates 🥺

mad friend of the year award goes to @damocarr83 who not only woke up at 3am but the only one to do the full 33 miles with me... @daznbone slacking big time 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

📸: @daznbone @scubastevescubasquad and everyone!

33 London Birthday Farewell Miles for @_alisonwalker_

Keeping up the tradition of running a mile for every year on this planet - Camino joined Alison for some joyful miles around our beloved Victoria Park.

Amazing to see ultra legend @damocarr83 come down from Coventry at 3am and many running friends throughout the morning.

Alison is heading up North to show them how we rock da hills 😍 2021 reunion will be fun.
