This event was incredible! @dancerlovefoundation has such a passion for creating more opportunities for our community, and it was amazing to see so many groups come together to support an incredible group of kids! 🫶🏼

Will you see me on a rower next year… 😉💪🏼

Olivia and I were also sporting our red to show our support for the American Heart Association! ❤️

Today was our last Quincy Farmer’s Market for @chaddockforkids . 😢 I had to stop at Walgreens for a moment between paint gigs and forgot I had face paint on. 💀 Hazel had pink tips already and also added glow blue and purple! 💙💜 I spent the rest of the night painting sweet little glowing faces at the @dancerlovefoundation 🌈✨ 🐆🐉🐅#quincyil #facepainter

Some of our favorite people in the fitness world are Sam and Jenn Dancer.

They've built QTown Fitness in Quincy, IL into more than a gym...it's a community where showing up matters more than showing off, and every workout is scaled to meet you exactly where you are, whether that's group classes, personal training, or nutrition coaching. We're proud to call QTown an AGuard client, and even prouder to call Sam and Jenn friends.

QTown is also home to something even bigger: the Dancer Love Foundation, a nonprofit empowering individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities through fitness, education, and love. On September 27, they're hosting the Quincy Glow Row - a glow-lit rowing marathon with a live DJ, food, drinks, and a silent auction, all to fund adaptive athlete programs. Register a team to row, or come out to cheer, eat, and bid on something good.

Please take a moment to explore both of these pages, and give these wonderful humans a kind word!

SIX ABLE Games athlete alumni. SIX top ten finishes across their respective divisions. All on the biggest stage in adaptive fitness🔥

Jacob Meyer — 4th
Jessica Rausch — 5th
Lance King — 1st (plus, the 2nd heaviest lift in a 2-rep max snatch!)
Tessa Kirkey — 2nd (in a tie-break nail-biter!)
Jess Jansen — 2nd
Kira Weber — 3rd

The work, the growth, the grit it takes to get to a stage like this — we've watched it happen, and we couldn't be prouder.

We're just glad to know them. 🧡

$14,000!! WOW! 💜💪

We are completely overwhelmed and blown away by the support we received during the WCIL Give Campaign!

Funny confession: I changed our fundraising goal THREE different times during the four-day campaign. I honestly had no idea what to set it at, and I never would have guessed where we would end up.

With online donations, offline donations, and prize winnings combined, we raised an incredible $14,000! 🎉

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?

It means our athletes will have access to amazing coaches and volunteers who will be highly trained and prepared to support every individual who walks through the Dance Love Foundation program. Not only will these certifications strengthen our organization, but they will also bring more Level 1 Certified Coaches to our small town of Quincy, Illinois. That is HUGE!

To everyone who donated, shared a post, spread the word, encouraged us, and stood beside us throughout this campaign, THANK YOU. Every single act of support made a difference.

What started as a dream and it is slowly but surely becoming a reality. This campaign has lit a fire in us and in our community to dream even bigger. With the new building we’re purchasing and the unique opportunities we’re creating for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, we truly believe the best is yet to come.

This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to continue pouring into every athlete, family, coach, volunteer, and supporter who becomes part of the Dance Love Foundation story.

Thank you for believing in us. 💜
