We are so excited to continue our monthly series. EveryBODY is hosting our next 2-hour beginner heels and movement workshop on Sunday, October 25th from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM in Manhattan. Studio will be shared closer to date.

Led and choreographed by @af.rys, this session is focused on building confidence, power, and dance foundations:
• Body Scans: Tuning into your body, alignment, and grounding before we move
• Heel Foundations: Safe balance, and weight transfer
• Choreography: A beginner-friendly heels routine

Fee: $20

Heels encouraged, but sneakers or socks are completely welcome!

💜 Created for plus-size dancers. EveryBODY is welcome.

P.S. We are dancing to a different song. Will share soon!

🔗 Registration is officially live! Secure your spot at the link in bio!

Still riding the high from our first EveryBODY beginner heels workshop taught by the phenomenal @af.rys!

Two hours where @af.rys helped us set intentions, get into our bodies, work on our walks and balance in heels, and learn some fun choreo.

The word I chose at the beginning of class was free. That’s been my word of the year. Sharing that room with all these beautiful people, hyping each other up, and exploring movement left me feeling truly free. I needed this space, and it means everything to see how deeply it resonated with
others too!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to dance! Thank you to everyone who reposted and shared the flyer over the last few weeks, and of course to @af.rys for leading such a great class!

This was only our first, and we are officially hosting another one! Drop a 👠 in the comments if you want the sign-up link as soon as we drop our October date!

who embarked on a 2-day(!) heels fusion experience to help me share just a glimpse of my choreographic style and make one of my first non-instructional choreographer debuts in NYC with some recent class favorites (shoutout @shebadancetroupe and my DivaDance fam😛)

Thank you to the team at the most beautiful studio around— to @iamjulzromell_ and @jaysevegas 🪩

❤️‍🔥 Happy #InternationalDanceDay

From youth ballet 22 years ago to a very special year for projects and bridging my two loves in grad school this fall—

I’m consistently floored by the joy, creativity, balance, self security and release this art brings me and allows me to share @divadancenyc @divadancebklyn 💓 @room21experience , with session friends old & new

and my mentors, teachers, anyone who I’ve so little as giggled with in a class, thank you 💐
