Interview excerpts for Siilk Gallery.

“What I put in my work is a mirror of my psyche. It is how I experience the world. Not visually, but viscerally. It is a projection of states I’ve went through over many years spent gripped by wild paralyzing anxiety, endlessly swinging between one bad mental state into another. And I didn’t have the language for it. Hence I guess the aesthetic I’m using, which feels natural to my grim and distorted experiences. Like the right mediator. Through it we can connect, not through logic or language, but on a deeper level. If I tried to explain them in words, I’d probably fail. And whoever listened won’t be able to understand either. But through images, maybe something else happens. Maybe a deeper connection becomes possible.“

Sergey Skip for Siilk. Interview by Daniel Peace. Curation by Nicole Oike.

Renovating a 16th-century Italian farmhouse, one project at a time. 🇮🇹🔨

The workshop is functional for now, but a major clean-up was definitely on the horizon. Every corner tells a story, and every improvement brings this historic property back to life.

Follow along as we restore, rebuild, and preserve a piece of Italian history.

New collection on TAEX: Study of a Floral Drift by MILKORVA @milkorvaa, curated by Daniel Peace @danielpeace

2 artworks, Unique Edition

Study of a Floral Drift follows the fragile life of a flower in motion. Each work starts with an AI-generated bloom that transforms through artist-guided movement — stretching, dissolving, and reforming into layered traces of colour.

Balancing control and chance, the series explores motion as both a precise and intuitive process, where natural forms are reimagined through digital space.
