This November, voters aren’t just choosing who will sit on Burbank’s City Council. We’re choosing what direction our city takes for years to come.

And there’s a question every voter deserves to ask:

Who is really behind the candidates asking for your vote?

The Democratic Socialists of America–Los Angeles has officially endorsed candidates for Burbank City Council and DSA-LA makes no secret that its endorsements come with organized resources, time, volunteers, and a broader political agenda.

That deserves scrutiny.

What policies are these candidates willing to support?

Will decisions be made by Burbank residents or by political organizations with agendas that extend far beyond our city?

There are serious concerns about the role of DSA-LA in local elections, the policies it supports, and reports of efforts to pressure local businesses over their participation in political events.

Lisa challenged candidates and elected officials to take a clear stand against doxing, intimidation, and calls to boycott businesses simply for providing space to candidates or speakers.

The message is clear: Burbank residents deserve transparency, open debate, and the freedom to participate in local politics without fear of retaliation.
