It’s Black History month. So one thing I’m gonna say is. We focus on famous people; our ancestors and what people have done for the world. 100% don’t ever forget that. But I’m gonna big up ALL the coaches and people that I’ve come across and that I’m proud of them for doing their thing and making a difference in their community. This not me saying any other race isn’t doing it because that would be me lying but I’m gonna put you on a few people.

National Championships 26'🇬🇧

Not the weekend I had planned, but I’m choosing to focus on how far I’ve come.

This time last year, I wasn’t even able to compete at Nationals, so I’m grateful to have been back on the start line and racing the 100m.

Unfortunately, after feeling my hip during the warm-up, I made the decision not to line up for the 200m. It was disappointing, but protecting the bigger picture always comes first.

Straight into physio, rehab and recovery.❤️‍🩹

One race doesn’t define the journey. We’ll recover, keep building, and be back doing what we do best. 🏃🏽‍♀️💙

Weekends like this remind me why I love being part of the fitness community.

I had the opportunity to spend the weekend at Turf Games with the incredible Applied Nutrition team, and what an atmosphere it was.

Watching thousands of athletes push themselves, dig deep and support one another was genuinely inspiring. With the heat on Saturday, it would have been easy for people to back off, but instead the encouragement between competitors was unbelievable.

One of my favourite things about events like this isn’t just the competition it’s the people. Whether you’re chasing a podium, completing your first event or simply showing up to challenge yourself, everyone is united by the same goal which is becoming a little better than they were yesterday.

I’m incredibly grateful to Applied Nutrition for having me involved and for the chance to connect with so many passionate people over the weekend.

Here’s to many more weekends like this.
