Celebrated 8 years of marital bliss a couple days ago ❤️‍🔥 Currently posting this from the city we were married in. Kind of a full circle moment. First photo is a throwback taken four years ago on our wedding anniversary in front of Stephen King’s former home in Maine/ Second slide was taken the day before yesterday at our favorite cemetery here in Chicago. We have spanned so much time between these photos, four years apart to the day, and my love for you, dear @death.scum, has only grown with each passing one. What more could I say that hasn’t already been said before about our love? Sometimes I think there are no words to convey the immensity of this feeling inside of me anyhow (none in our current lexicon of mundane words and cliche phrases anyway.) There are just so many things that I would like to say to you, but I don’t know how… What I can say definitively is: I am so glad I found you in this life, and I look forward to finding you again and again— in the next life and every life thereafter— until the universe implodes around us and we’re sucked back up into the vacuous black hole of stars and dust and fragments of angel meat, where we began. Thank you for saving me, my wonderwall. I love you eternally. 🖤

Our friend- author, artist, museum curator, true crime enthusiast, convicted murderer, blood drinker and cannibal— @nicoclaux_official “The Vampire of Paris”, stopped into the shop recently with his lovely wife, Cat, and some of their friends! We had a great time talking death, catacombs and true crime, telling stories in the Memento Mori room, and discussing his latest exhibit, the Serial Killer Exhibition, currently open and running until the end of January in the Cinespace Chicago Film Studio in North Lawndale. Nico was kind enough to sign some of the actual placards from the exhibit for us, which are available now in the shop! And, of course, we had to delight them with a shot of Malört after we realized none of them had ever had it!! They seemed to… like it ? Maybe…? ☠️ Even if the Malört didn’t dazzle them, it truly was a wonderful experience. We love meeting and making new friends and connecting with kindred spirits who share our same interests and passions, and this group was absolutely aces. Thank you again, Nico & Cat, for taking the time out of your incredibly busy schedules to spend some time with us at Covet. We brought some new jewelry, prints from local artists, band merch, occult books and goth accessories into the shop, and people have been loving it all. Hell’s emissary @daddybaphy666’s visit was a big success and we are already looking into his return in the near future for those who missed him earlier this month 🔥 We’re also heavy into planning some other new exciting events with beloved guests and friends, which we can’t wait to share with you all in the coming months! Oh, we’ve started a channel this month as well, called Covet Legion and it is open to all who want to join, just follow the little tab on our bio that says “Covet Legion” and you’ll find us there. Each and every day Covet is growing— growing our inventory, our space, our reach, but most importantly, in love and gratitude.
