Happy Thanksgiving!✨

Not only today should we be grateful for what we have👇
 I started practicing gratitude many years ago💫

It began with journaling (which I still do!). Every day I wrote down ✨3 things✨ I was grateful for that day🥺
 This became my daily ritual.
 At some point, I started doing it in the morning and also before going to sleep.
 And then I started looking for things I could be grateful for in every moment🫶

A person’s beautiful smile, a warm meal, a friend’s hug, a beautiful sunset, fresh clothes, a warm bed, being able to travel… and on some days, simply being able to breathe and live.

We can find magic in every single moment on this earth🍀

The more you start looking for magic in your daily life, the more magical your daily life will become.

So, what are you grateful for right here and right now?✨

I’ve sat trying to pick out just 20 photos from the 100’s in my album from the past few weeks 🫣 and now staring at my screen thinking of the ‘perfect’ words to write. For any new followers here hi 👋🏼 I’m Becca. And for the first 28 years of my life, I was just Becca. Then in March 2020 I was faced with a shock terminal cancer diagnosis, being told I had just 2 weeks to live. Fast forward 5 years (and what a rollercoaster it’s been) I can sit here, in Bali, a newly certified yoga teacher, and say that living with cancer can be beautiful. Wow it comes with so much shit but finding gratitude for everything and everyone it’s brought to my life feels pretty amazing 🤍 I will continue to use my voice and my power to spread the message that a cancer diagnosis does not mean your life is over….it may have only just begun 💫🪬🧘🏽‍♀️

IM A YOGA TEACHER✨🕉️
Still feels surreal saying that. This last week of training was filled with all of the emotions and lots of first. I taught my first class, got to learn Thai Yoga Massage and did a cold plunge that reached 35 degrees. As I’m reflecting back on the entire experience, I am so happy with how it all turned out. I was pushed to try asanas that I didn’t think would be possible for me (thanks @bhaskaryogacharya for always pushing me deeper in stretches even when I didn’t believe I could do it) and, pushed mentally to overcome my perfectionism when it comes to my teaching. I wouldn’t want to change a single thing about my experience.
