A little cocoa, a little conversation, and a story close to our hearts. 💚☕

Thank you, @DennisHouseTV, for chatting with our founder, Ali, on This Week in Connecticut and sharing the story behind Bare Life!

After cancer and a rare autoimmune condition changed the way she ate, Ali set out to create hot cocoa that brought back the comfort and simple joys she’d been missing. That personal search grew into Bare Life: nostalgic favorites reimagined with simple, thoughtfully sourced ingredients. 🍫

We’re so grateful to Dennis and the @WTNH8 team for the opportunity to share our journey—from our Connecticut roots to the mugs in your hands.

Grab a cozy mug and tune in Sunday at 10 a.m. on News 8! 💚☕ Watch live through the link in our story.

HALLOWEEN CANDY PRICES GOING ⬆️

New numbers from the @century_foundation show an average 15% increase in candy prices this #Halloween compared to 2025— 🍫🍬🍭

WHY? One professor at @quinnipiacu says as food 🍔 prices go up, it makes sense candy prices will too.

Soooo, what can you do? ⬇️ 💵

An award recognizes the work. Luke is the reason behind it.

The Luke Roux Foundation carries his name into work that helps protect lives and puts kindness into action. This November, the foundation (Stephen and Carri Roux) will be honored at the Denise D'Ascenzo Foundation's 2026 Human Spirit Awards Dinner.

The connection is kindness: remembering a life through care for others, and inviting a community to take part.

Come celebrate the honorees and support the Denise D'Ascenzo Foundation's work on Saturday, November 7, 6:00-10:30 PM at the Hartford Marriott Downtown.
