Sem cobranças de produzir conteúdo sobre psicologia, respeito o meu tempo e vontade sobre o que vai ser publicado aqui. Não quero fazer de um jeito forçado apenas para “cumprir o roteiro” do perfil profissional, senão, não estaria sendo eu mesma.
Esse post surge apenas porque me deu vontade de compartilhar um pouco da experiência que vivi ano passado.

Abril de 2025, estava embarcando em direção a NY para participar do congresso da @aedpinstitute
Primeira vez que viajaria sem ninguém, nem tinha certeza se eu queria mesmo aquilo. Nunca tive vontade de explorar o mundo sozinha, sempre gostei da segurança de uma companhia.
Mas o que aconteceu foi que depois que me tornei psicóloga fiquei com essa mania de querer enfrentar meus medos e sair da zona de conforto rss…tem sigo interessante…
Aproveitei a oportunidade de encarar esse medo dentro do meu limite, viajei sozinha mas tive o amparo de chegar lá e ser acolhida na casa da minha prima. Se algo desse errado eu tinha a quem pedir ajuda…e foi assim que me regulei para acalmar minhas inseguranças. Mesmo assim, antes de ir tive medo, preocupações, pensamentos catastróficos e até a coluna travou de tanta ansiedade…Mas eu queria muito participar do congresso, e fui!

Chegando lá fui me dando conta de que consegui caminhar sozinha pelas ruas desconhecidas, consegui tomar decisões, consegui curtir minha própria companhia, consegui até me perder e rir da situação. O medo não sumiu mas eu consegui conviver com ele e sentimentos melhores foram me preenchendo.

Chegou o dia do congresso e eu estava lá, toda corajosa e alegre, cheia de vontade de aprender… E, nossa, ainda bem que o medo não venceu, o que eu vivi ali fez tudo valer a pena!

E o que mais me marcou nisso tudo, foi perceber que o que eu vinha fazendo como psicoterapeuta fazia sentido…
De repente me vi preenchida de confiança, a partir de uma experiência que me fez reconhecer que o “ser terapeuta” vem muito naturalmente para mim, consegui me enxergar naqueles profissionais, sintonizada com aquela potência da presença terapêutica… Ah, como foi agradável confirmar que estou no caminho certo e que posso confiar na minha capacidade!

So honored to meet and learn from the people who built the frameworks I love, Dick Schwartz, the founder of IFS, and Diana Fosha, the developer of AEDP. Finding my own place in this work and adding my voice to the conversation means everything to me. Integrating AEDP and IFS in my work with queer and neurodivergent adults and ENM partners is where my heart is. These models together offer something I haven’t found anywhere else, a way of honoring every part of a person, their nervous system, their identity, their relationships, and their healing. More to come. ❤️

«La soledad frente a las emociones abrumadoras es el epicentro del dolor psicológico».

Desde esta premisa, Deshacer la soledad, de Diana Fosha, plantea algo muy simple, pero profundamente transformador: lo primero en terapia es deshacer la soledad del paciente. 🫂

La AEDP (Psicoterapia Experiencial Dinámica Acelerada), desarrollada por Fosha, considera que la psicopatología es el resultado de «la soledad involuntaria y no deseada del individuo» ante experiencias y emociones demasiado duras para sentirlas, regularlas y procesarlas a solas.

I was truly honored and inspired by everyone there:
• Marcelo Gleiser @gleiserofficial, physicist and philosopher, who spoke with clarity about the dangers of tribalism and the need for holistic thinking.
• Dr. Flávia Maia @drflaviamaia, a rainforest activist, who shared how community-led preservation is shifting the climate conversation on the ground.
• Kari Gleiser @karigleiser and Dr. Diana Fosha @dianafosha, whose work on the vastness of the human mind reminded me that inner space is as unexplored — and as vital — as outer space.
• Stathis Gourgouris, who shared an incredible poem that really struck me. It spoke to our shared humanity and asked what our future selves would teach us right now.
• Dr. Richard J. Davidson @drrichiedavidson, who helped me see the connection between spirituality and science, and how much power we hold as human beings — not only in our potential to grow, but in our capacity to make mistakes, learn, and realize that love and human possibility are truly limitless.

The theme was human flourishing. But what I walked away with was something deeper: a sense of possibility. That science and spirituality are no longer separate conversations. That personal stories belong in global solutions. That even in a world full of noise, there are still places where listening is sacred.

Even months later, I carry the clarity of that experience with me. It shaped how I see my work — and how I show up in the world. Not with answers, but with intention. And a belief that each of us, no matter our discipline or background, has the ability — and the responsibility — to participate.
