Kukstemc @thatissilly for asking me show up in my regalia and sharing your story with us all. As I danced for the children/families in Palestine, I burned sage to send them my prayers of strength. Don’t stop talking about this🫂future generations need us.

After seeing the photo of my great grandmother❤️I couldn’t help but get emotional thinking about my whole bloodline and existence. Hearing that small pox took her whole family is something I can’t stop thinking about. As a child we would visit her community - Alkali Lake/Esk'et, my mom wanted us to see where her mom was from. Over the years I learned Esk’et is a sovereign and self-governing community, they have never ceded, surrendered or given up their sovereign title and rights over the lands, waters and resources. It’s inspiring to see how far they come and I wanted to share this because they didn’t give up or give in to the so called government ways.
