😭💻🐱 A kibertámadások néha egyetlen gyanús kattintással kezdődnek.

The share of firms using AI in EU strategic sectors grew from 7% in 2021 to 18% in 2025. We just published a new analysis on AI uptake and barriers to use in the strategic sectors, covered by the Apply AI strategy. Our main findings: - The sectors with the highest AI use are media, energy and electronic, while mobility, tourism and agri-food lag behind. - The growth of AI use is mainly driven by LLMs as they have become cheaper and more accessible. - Capital-intensive industries, requiring sophisticated computing infrastructure, have higher AI uptake than labour-intensive sectors, based on people and skills.

Every October, European Cybersecurity Month reminds us that we all have a role to play in keeping our digital lives secure. It is a call to every citizen, employer and organisation to turn awareness into action. Today’s Eurobarometer shows that cybersecurity awareness is high, but everyday habits still need to catch up. Three in four EU employees encountered suspicious emails, messages or links at work in the six months before the survey. We are working to strengthen skills, improve preparedness and support stronger cybersecurity measures across Europe. Each of us can contribute by making good cyber hygiene part of our daily routine: using strong passwords, checking senders before opening links and reporting suspicious messages. Happy European Cybersecurity Month!
