The “5 Pillars of Light” (SPR ’25) of Epsilon Sigma Chapter proudly presented the Divine 9 Fest at Harlem Week 2026—bringing Black Greek excellence, culture, service, and community to the streets of Harlem!

That’s my Dr. Black and I’m sticking by him! You know why? Because coming to @smilespacenyc In HARLEM was the best decision I’ve made!

We started with the removal of my root canal after it popped off eating crab Rangoon in Boston right after I had hit the stage. I was devastated thinking of how much it would cost me. I know I would now need a tooth 🦷 implant but I didn’t have 7k that I was quoted somewhere else and that’s when I found DR. BLACK ! Smile space takes private insurance and pointed me in the right direction .

Past few months I’ve had deep cleanings , regular scheduled cleanings, a gum graph and now I’m healed enough to start my @invisalign Journey ! In just 6 months I’ll have them chompers and gaps gone! Can’t wait to see the full million dollar smile!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak with pre-dental students at Hunter College about my journey from being a pre-dental student to becoming a dental student.

I still remember my time at Hunter—feeling scared, nervous, and constantly questioning whether I was good enough to get accepted. Standing at the podium and looking out at all the faces in the room reminded me so much of myself just a few years ago.

If there’s one thing I hope the students took away from my talk, it’s that never let self-doubt be louder than your dreams. Keep showing up, keep working hard, and trust the process.

I also had the honor of speaking alongside Dr. Corey Black. Hearing his story of perseverance and success was truly inspiring. It was a pleasure meeting you, Doc!

Grateful for the opportunity to give back to the school and community that played such a big role in my journey. Looking forward to seeing the next generation of dentists achieve their goals! 🦷
