Growing up, traditional Chinese medicine (#TCM) was always a part of my life, and lately I’ve been making a conscious effort to reconnect with the wellness practices that have shaped me.

Between grad school, clinical rotations, and everything else life throws my way, self-care has taken a bit of a backseat. A small, but mighty, reminder to myself that taking care of my well-being deserves just as much time and attention as everything else on my plate.

Sharing one of my favorite wellness gems, @___goodplace____ , in case you’re in need of a little reset, too. 🤍

Coffee brings us together. The ritual makes it personal.
At our Cold Brew Community event at @wipgoods - we asked our community to share theirs.
How many cups of coffee are part of your ritual, and what’s your go-to coffee? ☕️

Not ceramics content, sorry. I’m 20 weeks pregnant now and have been in bed rest for the last three weeks. It’s been hard seeing my body change and not being able to do 1/4 of what I used to be able to do, but I’m just happy baby is healthy.

It’s been a week since graduation, and I feel very little. The people who love me say that they’re proud of me, but *reverse card* I’m proud of THEM. I’m proud of my husband who works THE hardest. He supported me when I decided to quit my job mid covid, put our life on hold, start a 3 year doctorate program, and pursue a career not in chemistry. He wrote me that card the week before I started school, and it’s funny/not funny how things have come full circle. I’m proud of the lifelong friends I have made; they are the smartest, most hardworking, and funniest young ladies I have ever met.
I finished this program a term early, pReGnAnT, and valedictorian, but I one hundred million bajillion percent could not have done it without my people (there are too many to tag). I am very lucky.

- having my dad place my hood during the graduation ceremony
- hearing such heartfelt, wonderful words at the awards ceremony from doctors i look up to
- seeing everyone in my class together one last time
- celebrating with my family, having one of the best meals ever at Bom NYC, and coming home to more festivities
