𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗳 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿? 🧬✨

An unforgettable few days in NYC attending the Merz Global Longevity Summit — exploring not just how we can live longer, but how we can live 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 and 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 whilst doing it.

So much fascinating science, fresh perspectives and exciting developments in longevity and regenerative aesthetics, including some really interesting emerging research into the skin-regenerative potential of Radiesse - one of my favourite in-clinic procedures.

For me, the future of aesthetics isn’t about turning back the clock, but helping us age well and look and feel our best along the way.

And of course, it would have been rude not to enjoy a little NYC magic whilst I was there… 🗽🍸

Because 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀.

And if we can look good whilst doing it? Even better. 😉

A HUGE thank you to the @merzaesthetics_uki @merzaesthetics global teams for the invite, I cannot wait to share what I’ve learned with my patients and future trainees ❤️

So how does UltraClear® actually compare to CO₂ and Erbium YAG? Where does it outperform, and why are more clinics switching before their next equipment investment?

👉 Comment "CO2" and we'll send you the full breakdown.

If you're evaluating your next laser purchase, or you're just not sure yet, this is the comparison you need before you decide.

My scarring has been with me a long time. Long after the acne calmed down, it stayed, and so did the way it made me feel.

I’ve spent years noticing it before anyone else could. Checking mirrors, angling my face, wondering if that’s what people saw first.

So handing my skin over to someone isn’t easy for me. I’ve sat in appointments feeling rushed and sold to, and walked out feeling smaller than when I went in.

Dr Dev was the first person who slowed down. He asked how it really made me feel, and I ended up telling him more than I expected. He was honest about what he could and couldn’t do, and somehow that made me trust him more.

If your skin has made you feel like this too, please find someone who sees you, not just your skin. It matters more than you think.

Thank you @drdevpatel1 for looking after me 🤍

This past Saturday + Sunday, we attended The Biology of Renewal — and we can confidently say it’s one of our favourite educational conferences we attend🤍

Yes, that’s a big statement… but plasma has become such a huge part of what we do at Lasair

From Plexr + NeoGen PSR, to RegenLab PRP/PRF and everything in between, learning more about plasma and regenerative aesthetics has completely changed the way we approach skin, aging and treatment planning

We’re so grateful to have gotten this close to technology and education that continues to evolve the way we treat our clients — and gives us results that they can appreciate for years to come

A huge thank you to @sotiris.tsioumas for another incredible training and for giving us a glimpse into some very exciting technology to come 👀

@drdevpatel1 for the amazing NeoGen PSR education and introducing us to new post-care protocols that we can’t wait to bring back to the clinic

@thornhillskinclinic for such an insightful (and VERY relatable 😂) conversation about the business side of this industry

And @lipdoctormd for an incredible deep dive into PRP, PRF, regenerative medicine and everything in between

Weekends like this remind us why we never want to stop learning. The more we understand the science behind what we do, the better we can treat our clients.
We’re coming back to Lasair inspired, educated and VERY excited about what’s next🤍

It was a great honor to be invited in Canada and stand before so many distinguished doctors, share knowledge, demonstrate my techniques, and feel their genuine interest and appreciation . An incredibly rewarding experience.

I am deeply grateful for the warm hospitality of Plasmatology group , the respect, and the trust I received throughout this journey.

Moments like these remind me that dedication, knowledge, hard work, and perseverance always speak for themselves.

Proud of the journey. Proud of the work. Proud of how far I’ve come 🙏🇨🇦

Could this be the beginning of a new era in Canadian aesthetics?

Team Melisse travelled to Toronto for The Biology of Renewal Summit — Two intensive days immersed in learning alongside world-renowned physicians, educators and innovators in regenerative aesthetics, plasma medicine and advanced skin rejuvenation.

We had the privilege of learning from an incredible group of physicians and industry leaders, Including Dr. Sotiris Tsioumas, who travelled from Greece and Dr. Dev Patel, who joined us from the UK.

From Dr. Tsioumas’ advanced work with PLEXR®, plasma medicine, periocular rejuvenation and emerging autologous lifting techniques, to Dr. Patel’s education on NeoGen Nitrogen Plasma and whole-skin remodeling, and some pretty incredible skin care education, to the evolving science of PRP, regenerative medicine and tissue renewal — these two days gave us an entirely new perspective on what is becoming possible in aesthetics.

We were given an inside look at innovative technologies and techniques making their way into the Canadian aesthetic space — including advancements that have the potential to change the way we approach rejuvenation, restoration and the ageing process altogether.

We can’t share everything just yet… but what we learned has us incredibly excited for what’s ahead at Melisse.

We are so grateful to Plasmatology Group, the physicians, educators and innovators who shared their knowledge so generously, and for the opportunity to continue investing in education that allows us to bring our patients thoughtful, evidence-informed and forward-thinking care.

Education never stops. Innovation never stops. And neither do we.

We’re proud to be the first clinic in Sherwood Park to offer NeoGen® Nitrogen Plasma. ✨

If you’d like to learn more about NeoGen, begin your ageless skin journey, or book a personalized consultation with our team, we’d love to hear from you.
