ONE TEAM. ONE DREAM. ❤️🏔️ Kilimanjaro is so much more than a mountain. For us, it’s about bringing people together — our incredible Tanzanian staff, guides, porters, and our clients from around the world — and creating a true family atmosphere from day one. We hike together. We encourage each other. We laugh together. We celebrate together. And when we’re not hiking, that’s when some of the best memories are made. 🃏🎶💃🏽🍲 Cards around camp. Dancing and singing. Amazing food. Stories, jokes, and plenty of laughter. Those simple moments are what turn a group of people into a team — and eventually, into family. Our goal is for everyone who joins us to feel like they are part of something bigger than themselves. Because standing on the summit of Kilimanjaro is incredible… …but looking around and knowing you shared the journey with people who became family? That’s what it’s really about. ONE TEAM. ONE DREAM. ONE FAMILY. 🌍❤️⛰️ NON STOP TO THE TOP- See you on the summit very soon! #family #Kilimanjaro #hakunamatata #africaisawesome #thejourney Karanga Camp Kilimanjaro

Today we were blessed in the oldest monastery in the Khumbu by the Nwang Palzo Llama with singing and drinking of the holy water as well as a lanyard tied around our necks. Our Everest Climber (Devon and I) as well as our Luboche and EBC trekkers (Howard and Michael - Kevin - Priscilla - Melissa - Nina - Amanda - Grace). This is always one of my favorite traditions in the Khumbu and this being my 7th Everest Everest Expedition and my 20th time here in Nepal🇳🇵 on a trek exploring and guiding. Grateful to be here and excited to keep going higher! #everest2024 #himalayas @drjonsadventures @devonlevesque

Jumping right into the ⛷️ Haute Route, Day 2 from Verbier to Prafleuri hut we got things rolling with a close to bluebird day, light winds and great snow. The bonus was a little lunch break on the Rosablanche at over 11,000’ before dropping in for a solid 4 mile run down over 3,000’ and arriving at the Prafleuri Hut for the night. Hut trips in the middle of the Swiss Alps 🇨🇭 ⛷️ means life is pretty good out here. #huttrips #hauteroutealps #jonsjourneys @drjonsadventures #rosablanche #prafleurihut #exploremore #builtfortheclimb

Ladder practice with @a.d.murray before Everest. One of the famous features of climbing Everest are the ladders used to cross crevasses. In the Khumbu Icefall, there are between 20 and 30 crevasses. Most Nepal climbers will make at least four round trips through the Icefall meaning they will cross over 200 crevasses. #everest #everestsummit #crevasse #khumbu #mountaineering #nepal #climbing #mountain #everesttrek #everestbasecamp #everestregion #khumbuicefall

Well that was fun- one of the most stunning places on the 🌎 to do a little Ice skating ⛸ and 🏒 . It’s a short window of weather each year where we have cold nights - clear skies and no snow- the ice was pretty darn smooth- and thick too! Get it while it’s good and enjoy the journey.
