Our first year at the @countrylivingfair with @countrylivingmag !!🧺🍞🍁

We drove 17.5 hours with Rhett, Evelyn, my mom and all the sourdough supplies. Leading up to this week I prepped 55lbs of sourdough starter and we brought 250lbs of flour.

We rented a little kitchen in the town of Catskill, NY from 11pm to 7am. My sourdough was not behaving like it normally does, the high altitude and different ovens were a hurdle for us. We scrapped a lot of loaves, tried every method possible and finally got it to cooperate and came out with about 132 loaves and sleep exhaustion. We could not have done it without our moms😅

The Country Living Fair was amazing, I was in antique heaven and we met some great people there! We sold out on Day 2 and got to go enjoy the Catskill Mountains, we went apple picking, visited some of the little town shops, we took the kids on a train ride through the mountains and took a hike to the Kaaterskill Waterfall.

The NY mountains are a new favorite🧡🍁🪵
