I could have created a room with equipment and called it a gym, but that was never what I wanted Elevate to be. I wanted women to walk in here and feel comfortable. To learn. To ask questions. To take up space. To get strong without feeling like everyone is watching them & I wanted to remove as many of the little barriers as I could. wtf u waiting for? Come join the fam🤪❤️

Happy 2nd birthday to my baby @elevate.mvmt 🥹😭🤍
There was a version of me who genuinely couldn’t see this life ahead of her. I didn’t know exactly what it would become, I definitely didn’t have everything figured out and I wasn’t completely ready. I just knew that staying where I was because it felt safer was never going to give me the life I wanted, two years later I get to look around at something that once only existed in my head. I’ve watched women walk through my doors terrified of the gym and slowly learn to take up space in it.

Elevate has challenged me more than almost anything I’ve ever done. There have been tears, mistakes, terrifying decisions, late nights, early mornings and plenty of moments where I’ve wondered whether I was capable of carrying the vision I had for it. But fuck, I am so glad I kept going, because this little business gave me something I spent years searching for - purpose.

So happy 2nd birthday to my little Elevate MVMT🥹🤍 Thank you to every single person who has trusted me with a piece of your journey. Whether you’ve trained with me F2F or online, been coached by me, shared my work, recommended me, supported me or simply cheered me on from the sidelines, you have helped build this too and you are the heart of elevate MVMT.

And to the version of me who started it, thank fuck you didn’t wait until you weren’t scared. You just did it scared🥹🤍

You think the biggest transformation here was physical? Narh babe. The biggest transformation was what happened in my fkn head.

Learning to keep showing up for myself.
Learning to stop quitting on myself every time life got fkn hard.
Learning that looking after myself wasn’t something I only deserved when I was motivated, happy or had my shit together.

&I think that’s why I sometimes have a little laugh when a client says to me “Yeah but you’re fit, you don’t get it.” Babe. Fkn if anyone gets it I do.

I haven’t always looked how I look now. I haven’t always had a good relationship with myself, food, training or my body. I know what it feels like to be uncomfortable in your own skin I was diagnosed young with body dysmorphia. I know what it feels like to struggle mentally and have looking after yourself feel like the hardest fucking thing in the world & even NOW, my body changes.

I go through stages. Sometimes I’m leaner. Sometimes I’m softer. Sometimes I’m pushing my training and building muscle. Sometimes life is busy and maintenance is the win.

Because I don’t need to be at my leanest all year round to prove that I’m a good coach. I don’t need popping muscles 365 days a year to be healthy & I definitely don’t need to spend my entire life chasing a fkn number or a certain body composition. My body is allowed to change depending on the season of life I’m in.

THAT is probably one of the biggest things my own journey has taught me, and something I want every woman I coach to eventually understand too. The goal was never to become the smallest version of myself. It was to become a version of myself I could actually rely on.

Strong, healthy, confident & finally not abandoning myself every time life got fucking hard❤️‍🔥
