Residência Artística
TRUST Collective

Artist Residency
TRUST Collective

Ema Lavrador was in residence at TRUST from June 8 to 14, developing the storyboard for the animated short film “Levemente”.

TRUST residencies welcome projects at different stages of development, creating time and space for research, experimentation, and creation in relation to the house, the village, and the surrounding landscape. In Barril de Alva, Ema Lavrador further developed the visual and narrative structure of a film rooted in memory, place, and the experience of returning.

“Levemente” follows a young woman returning to the house where she grew up. The project is rooted in the artist’s relationship with the village of Dadim, in Trás-os-Montes, reflecting on rural memory and the experience of leaving and returning.
