Beauty is all around, especially in the city of Montevallo.

Direct callbacks to the city’s history and inclusion of Alabama’s state birds, these murals have it all. Tucked away in side alleys or along Main Street there are many murals done by artists that celebrate public art and the city.

If you ever find yourself in town or just passing by, make sure to stop by these murals and have a look for yourself.

We were honored to help bring over 40 artist to 35 new murals and hundreds of volunteer hours to life this past week @yonderwalls. If we were humbled by Decks & Cans we were truly blown away by the Mural Festival

It was the convergence of our city’s creative powerhouses, emerging artist, and new friends from over yonder. I think we made Birmingham proud 🧡

Sights from Yonder Walls! 🎨

This past week, Birmingham hosted its first-ever mural festival at Urban Supply! Featuring more than 30 artists from across the country, the weeklong event celebrated creativity and helped fuel the growing art scene right here in Birmingham.

The festival wrapped up with a day of live performances, headlined by Birmingham native and Grammy-winning songwriter Pynk Beard. The performances brought even more energy to a week dedicated to celebrating art, community, and creativity.

Here are a few of our favorite shots from the festival! 📸
