What a FABULOUS morning interviewing the amazing @bonhughbon about his children's books the Rory Sparkes series! We had the best audience!! Hugh was so brilliant to talk to, made everyone laugh and had every child wanting to ask a question. Thank you for letting me interview you, being so fun and for holding up my books Cruise Ship Kid (so kind!) Grab yourself a copy of Rory Sparkes 1 or 2 for middle-grade adventures full of heart, humour, elephants and quite a bit of maple syrup... 🐘

Also a big thank you to @burylitfestival for having me and @harrisharrisbooks too! What a morning!

AD | Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain live on stage was absolutely brilliant... and completely barmy!

If like us, you like your history with plenty of facts, laughs and all the nasty bits left in, then @hhliveonstage is the show for you.

It's extremely funny, delightfully barmy and just the right amount of chaotic, with lots of opportunities for the audience to join in.

@emmalittleswan and Neal Foster were absolutely phenomenal. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and they had us laughing from start to finish.

We were invited to attend by @londontheatre as part of this year's Kids Week promotion. Until 31 August, children aged 17 and under can go free with a full-paying adult at selected performances, and up to two additional children can attend for half price.

It's a great way to experience live theatre as a family over the summer holidays, and there are so many shows to choose from.

We are OPEN in the West End! It would help if my post-show hair didn't cover the title 😂 Come and see Barmy* Britain Horrible Histories at the Apollo, this summer, if you're free. When pals come it makes my day. ♥️

The best time performing with the absolutely brilliant Neal Foster, fabulous @jackkballard having our incredible team and the nicest theatre staff ever. X

Well tonight marks a very special personal milestone for me because…

⭐️ TONIGHT IS MY 600th @hhliveonstage SHOW!! ⭐️

(If my calculations are correct) This evenings performance of Terrible Tudors at the beautiful #HisMajestysTheatreAberdeen marks my 600th performance with Horrible Histories & @birminghamstage! 👏

Little did I know when I auditioned in late 2019, what a huge part of my life Horrible Histories would become, what amazing memories I would make and wonderful people that I would meet!

Here’s just some pics from the last 6+ years, I feel so grateful✨🤝

It's a year today since Cruise Ship Kid was published! It's been the most wonderful year, here are a few memories. Thank you to everyone who has bought a copy, told a child about the books and endured your Instagram being bombarded with Captain's hats. I'm so grateful to you.

The third book is out next year and other things are currently being written. 👀 I'm so excited for everything to come!

I'm off to Scarborough today for a Cruise Ship Kid event. A competition with @chocolatewisheschocolates is coming next week!! 👀 out for it!! (I've never used 👀 before and now I can't stop!! 👀🚢🌊)

Unfortunately no more books will be written as I'm moving to Copenhagen to drink iced coffee and eat pastries full time...
