I didn’t get a chance to spend a ton of time at the opening of “All of Us” at @RITCityArtSpace last night, so I went back today to sit with the work for a bit. I’m humbled and honored to share space with this group of amazing and incredibly talented artists - Alicia Astacio, Ephraim Gebre, Erin Nesmith, Najhay Quick, and Ya'qub Shabazz. The exhibition is curated by @uniquefairart, and is on view til Oct. 23, during regular gallery hours. Free and open to the public, please find your way to see this show.

280 East Main Street, Thursday – Sunday 1-5 p.m. Friday 1-9 p.m.

For my installation for the All of Us exhibit I wanted to encompass my love of fashion and art. When I launched my lingerie line, E’rouse I created lingerie and art inspired by different art historical time periods. I recreated historical paintings depicting women wearing E’rouse. This collection was inspired by the rich jewels and elegance of the Elizabethan era. I wanted to depict beautiful women elegantly draped in exquisite lingerie.

I am inspired by life and the natural beauty of the human form. My work is usually a personal rendition of raw emotions experienced through life or at a given time. My pieces are meant to exude the strength and beauty of perseverance.

Available pieces from my personal collection of artwork can be found on my website!

There’s nothing like a mother’s touch. The feeling of being held by the one you love the most. This painting here was a dedication to all mothers. The flower is growing out of soil in the mother hands, with a baby resting so peacefully inside. That represent the natural influence a mother has on the growth of her child. Beautiful painting and meaning that would make a great Mother’s Day gift!
