Chasing that marathon finish line was one of the most emotional experiences of my life.
All the pain, all the sacrifices, all the early mornings, all the moments of doubt, and all the times you questioned yourself come rushing through your mind. It’s a feeling that’s almost impossible to explain. Sometimes, you don’t even realise how much you’ve been carrying emotions until you finally allow yourself to stop and feel it.

To everyone who supported me throughout this journey, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every voice message, every good luck wish, every word of encouragement and every person who took the time to check in with me meant more than you will ever know.

To everyone who donated to the Epilepsy Foundation, we raised an incredible $2,630 together. Thank you for being part of something bigger than a finish time.

To my mum
You are, and always will be, one of the strongest women I know. Watching you continue to battle through your days, even when life gives you reasons to feel tired, is something I will never take for granted. You continue to show strength in ways that words could never fully describe. You remind me that being strong doesn’t mean life doesn’t hurt. Sometimes, strength is simply waking up each morning and finding the courage to keep going, even when things feel impossible.I hope you know how much I admire you. If there is one thing I carry with me when things get hard, it is the strength I have seen in you.

To my other half
You played such a big part in getting me through this journey. You are one of the bravest girls I have ever met. Knowing what you have been through, and what you continue to face every single day, yet still seeing you wake up with a smile, treat people with kindness, and carry yourself with such humanity, leaves me speechless.
I hope you know how proud I am of you. You inspire me in ways you may never fully understand, and I am so grateful to have you beside me.

I crossed that finish line with sore legs and an exhausted body, but a heart full of gratitude. I will remember that feeling for the rest of my life.

Epilepsy Foundation Treadmill Challenge 2026 💜

13 teams. So many kilometres. And a whole lot of people showing up for something bigger than themselves.

Such a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together.

A huge thank you to everyone who walked, ran, cheered, volunteered and helped make the day so special.
