“The question of belonging is inseparable from questions of access, labour, memory, ecology, and displacement. Yet these practices also insist on the symbolic and affective dimensions of dwelling: on the gestures, images, materials, and stories through which a space becomes lived, shared, and recognised as one’s own.”

The last artist selected by Erica Petrillo is Antonio Bermúdez-Obregón.

Antonio Bermúdez-Obregón is an architect and visual researcher whose practice operates at the intersection of culture and land, intertwining the physical reality of territory with its layered meanings. Through maps, archives, and historical collections, his work explores landscape semantics, geopolitics, colonial imaginaries, and the ways images shape our understanding of nature and place.

His work has been presented internationally at institutions including the Humboldt Forum Berlin, the Metropolitan Museum Quito, MAMBO Bogotá, and gres art Bergamo.
