Congratulations to A Different World on the Season 2 pickup and all the critical acclaim from the media and fans alike! 🎉👏🏾 It was so great listening to Showrunner’s Felicia Pride’s curiosity and anticipation about how the show would be received before its release, and then hearing everyone’s positive reactions afterward ❤️! One thing I’ve taken away from the press tour for this project (shoutout to @etuckk… it’s been 👌🏽) is that the right project will challenge you in every possible way and ultimately change who you are. You have to lean into the discomfort, trust yourself, and trust the experience you bring to the table. Remember that you were brought into this room for a reason. You have something to offer. Two weeks ago I ran @santamonicaclassic with my dream brand @asics 💙 I’m still shook 😆 From the initial confirmation email to our afterparty, Coach @natrunsfar has shown up and supported us through the toughest 13 week training cycle. Through the summer heat wave, vacation, and life’s happenings she held us down. I’m so grateful and honored to have been 1 of the 50 ladies to run SMC with ASICS! It was a literal dream team 💫 I’ve met so many amazing ladies on this journey! I ran all of my trainings with my son in a stroller and to hear him scream “Hi Mom!” as I crossed the finish line 🥹 it made all those miles worth it!
