Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing foster mamas, volunteer mamas, and dog mamas out there — especially those who opened their hearts and adopted from a shelter 🥹🐾💐

We’re so endlessly grateful for every ounce of love you give to our dogs ❤️

Meet Moose 💛🫎 It’s been 1.5 years since we said goodbye to our sweet baby Leo. I went from “I’m never going to get another dog” to “my next dog is going to be a little dog” to adopting a moose. #germanshepherddog #adoptdontshop #yolocountyanimalshelter #tea_journals

🐾 volunteer spotlight time!

Eunah has been a volunteer since 2022 and has taken on so many different roles at the shelter. She dedicates weekly time to working with a high school mentee, makes an effort to spend time with our more hard-to-handle dogs, and regularly takes dogs on day trips to help us learn more about them. When she’s not juggling all of that, she also is the brains behind the @yoloanimalshelter account AND our head event coordinator! She is an absolute rockstar and we can’t imagine this place without her. Thank you for all that you do, Eunah!
