I always love trying new things just for the joy of the process, without any pressure to be the absolute best at them. Movement is incredibly important to me, staying in good shape after 40 is my priority, and I just love the way my body feels when I am in motion. Animal Flow is my newest discovery and it truly makes me feel alive, offering a perfect mix of fun and challenge that forces my brain and body to work in sync. I want to say a huge thank you to our teacher Jared @evolvewithjared, you are such a massive inspiration to learn from. Of course I have challenges and limitations, but I show up, put in the work, and absolutely love that feeling when a new movement finally clicks into place. I know learning anything new takes time and consistent practice, so right now I am fully embracing the beginning of this journey, working through the hard parts, and feeling deeply grateful for the experience 🙏🏻

you don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great. one thing i’ve learned when learning a new skill is to never compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 20. and celebrate every lil win along the way, coz there’s no such thing as too lil progress. progress is #myheartwillgoonparody progress, no matter how small.

#consistency matters more than intensity. it’s not what you do once in a while, but what you do consistently that makes the difference. my coach told me that practicing handstands for just 5 minutes every day is better than doing one hour once a week, and that really stuck with me. coz you’re not just building skills, you’re building habits, discipline, and the mindset to keep going even when you suck at something.

so never be embarrassed to be a beginner. fall, fall, look ridiculous, laugh at yourself, but always get back up and try again. i’ve always believed that if someone else can do it, so can i. maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but eventually i’ll get there. and so will you.

#handstands are definitely not for the fainthearted!! what looks so effortless actually takes months, sometimes years, to master. i started learning handstands from scratch during my #training at gravity last july, and i’m so grateful to have had such a patient coach who taught me the fundamentals step by step. i still have a long way to go, but thanks to him, i’ve built not just a foundation, but also the confidence to actually try. having the courage to even try is aldy a big #achievement to me.

keep showing up. keep growing. keep evolving.

this is, by far, the best coach I’ve ever trained with. He doesn’t just teach me how to improve my movements or train better. more than that, he has instilled confidence in me and taught me that I’m capable of far more than I think and stronger than I realize. to me, that is even more valuable than any skill I could gain in the process, because sport is about mindset first, then physical ability. Once your mind believes you can do it, your body begins to follow. #greatcoach hard to find #forevergraateful #handstand #handstandjoirney

You don’t need to speak the same language to play together.
Capoeira brings people together through movement, music, and rhythm.
We clap, sing, learn to play instruments, and discover how music guides the game. Sometimes it’s fast and playful, sometimes slow and thoughtful. Every rhythm brings a different energy.
And when two people step into the game, they start a conversation without words — through movement, creativity, and a little bit of mischief.
Different countries, different backgrounds, one shared game.
Come join our little capoeira community on Koh Samui!
Sunday, 10:30 AM
Hua Thanon Viewpoint, Koh Samui
Everyone is welcome. No experience needed.

When was the last time you learned a completely new way to move?

Capoeira is full of small challenges: a new movement, a new rhythm, a new sequence, a new way to interact with another person. You don’t need to be flexible, strong, or 'in shape' before you start. You build those things along the way, together with coordination, confidence, creativity, and body awareness.

And learning something new is much more fun when you do it with other people.

Come challenge yourself, play, and learn with us this Sunday.

Sunday, 10:30 AM
Hua Thanon Viewpoint, Koh Samui
Beginners are always welcome.

Get stronger. Move smarter. ✅

Why not get strong and learn some fun skills in the process? Movement is about more than strength, it’s coordination and skill!
