Healthcare extends beyond nursing. 🤎

At Beyond Nursing Experience, we believe there is space for everyone who contributes to the healthcare experience. From nurses to medical assistants and doulas, we all play a role in caring for our communities.

We’re excited to introduce Camilla Thompson, a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, certified doula, and maternal health advocate joining us for the Beyond Nursing Summit: Influence & Impact!

As the Black Maternal Health Director for Black Lives Matter New Hampshire, Camilla developed a comprehensive doula training curriculum centered on birth equity, advocacy, and culturally responsive care. She also serves as a Community Coordinator with the New Hampshire Perinatal Quality Collaborative and Board President of the Live Free Autonomy Collective, advancing equitable maternal healthcare and reproductive freedom.

As a mother of four, her professional work and lived experiences fuel her commitment to creating safer, more respectful experiences for birthing people and families.

The right room can truly change everything. 🤎

Today, I had the opportunity to attend The Founder’s Brunch, an intimate gathering of like-minded entrepreneurs, creatives, and visionaries who understand what it means to build something from the ground up.

There’s something so refreshing about being surrounded by people who understand the ambition, the sacrifices, the challenges, and the wins that come with entrepreneurship.

Sometimes, all it takes is being in the right room, having the right conversations, and connecting with people who remind you that you’re not alone in the journey.

Here’s to building meaningful connections, celebrating each other’s wins, and continuing to create spaces where we can grow together. 🥂✨

Thank you @fancyisforever and @speema_ for hosting yet another fabulous event and having me as a guest 🤎
