Adenike Adeyemi(@sarochic) is taking on a new leadership role as Chief Executive Officer of Olaniwun Ajayi LP(@olaniwunajayi)💫

After more than a decade leading FATE Foundation(@fatefoundation), where she helped expand its reach across Nigeria and into other African markets, Adenike is bringing her wealth of experience in strategy, institutional transformation and executive leadership to one of Nigeria’s leading law firms.🔥

During her tenure at FATE Foundation, She led the organisation’s expansion from operations in three Nigerian states to all 36 states, alongside growth into Ghana, Kenya and South Africa. Her leadership journey has also included serving as the pioneer Executive Director of the Nigeria Leadership Initiative.

My first visit to Nigeria marked an important professional milestone: delivering the first Meta Transform with AI Program of its kind in the country.

I designed and delivered the in-person training in Lagos and Abeokuta, Nigeria, in collaboration with FATE Foundation.

Business owners explored how to apply the Meta Advantage+ suite to their advertising strategies, including:

• Advantage+ sales campaigns
• Advantage+ leads campaigns
• Advantage+ app promotion campaigns
• Opportunity Score and experiment-backed recommendations
• Data quality and creative diversification

What impressed me most was how quickly the participants understood the concepts. During quizzes and knowledge checks, they confidently explained the principles back to me and applied them to their own campaigns.

Several learners began implementing the training on the same day.

One participant shared:

“I have already started implementing what I learned today.”

That movement from learning to immediate application is exactly what I designed the program to achieve.

Thank you to Meta, FATE Foundation and every participant in Lagos and Abeokuta. This was an exceptional introduction to Nigeria and another important step in expanding practical AI and digital advertising capability across Africa.

Two days in Kigali, Rwanda, and countless conversations that have reshaped how I think about the future of African businesses.

I was privileged to attend the Innovate Africa Conference 2026, following my selection by the Kingdom of the Netherlands through @orangecornersng

The conference explored what it will take to build Africa’s next trillion-dollar economies, from investment and economic sovereignty to infrastructure, talent, technology, and the systems required to compete globally.

One message stayed with me: Owning resources is not the same as creating value from them.

Africa must move beyond simply producing raw materials. We must process, build, innovate, and create businesses capable of competing beyond our borders.

As the founder of @07foods, these conversations were especially meaningful. I had the opportunity to share our product samples, explore potential supply opportunities in Kigali, and connect with leaders across the investment and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The experience reinforced an important truth: taking an African business into new markets requires more than a good product. It demands strong systems, the right partnerships, operational capacity, and access to markets.

I returned with new relationships, fresh perspectives, and a renewed sense of responsibility for the business we are building.

My sincere appreciation to @orangecornersng @fatefoundation, and the Kingdom of the Netherlands for making this opportunity possible.

WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO BUILD A TRILLION-DOLLAR AFRICAN ECONOMY? 🌍

This was one of the key questions that stayed with me after attending the Innovate Africa Conference in Kigali, Rwanda.

One insight stood out: innovation requires three critical things — POWER, DATA AND TALENT.

Great ideas and promising businesses can only go so far without reliable infrastructure, useful information and skilled people to execute them.

We also need to rethink how we finance Africa’s growth. Instead of continually asking, “Who will fund Africa?”, we must mobilise more of our own resources through:

▪️ Domestic institutional capital
▪️ Diaspora equity and venture capital
▪️ Strategic capacity building

As a Nigerian entrepreneur building VerdFoodsNg, I left the conference thinking about what it takes to build businesses that can grow sustainably, compete effectively and contribute meaningfully to Africa’s economy.

Grateful to @orangecornersng and @fatefoundation for the opportunity to attend alongside nine other Nigerian businesses.

Kigali was more than a conference. It was an opportunity to expand our thinking and imagine what African businesses can become.

What do you think is holding African businesses back from scaling — capital, infrastructure, talent or something else? 👇🏽

“Sir, I want to go to school… but I’m afraid.” 💔📚
A young boy has been admitted into JSS1, but he was scared to speak up because he didn’t know how he would afford the things needed to start school.
His mother is no longer alive, and his father was considering taking him fishing instead.
Thankfully, we have started helping him with his NIN, LASSRA and registration process. 🙏🏽
But we still need your help.
🎒 School bag
👕 Uniform
🩴 Sandals
🧦 Socks
📚 Books
✏️ Writing materials
And sadly, his story is not unique.
There are children in Makoko, Okoagbon and Sogunro who are at home today—not because they don't want to learn, but because their families cannot afford the basics.
A child should not lose his future because of a school bag.
❤️ You can help us keep one child in school.
❤️ You can donate school items.
❤️ You can support financially.
❤️ You can simply share this post.
One child at a time. One future at a time.
Let’s give them a reason to believe that their dreams are still possible. 🌱📚

A throwback to where my entrepreneurship journey began. 🚀❤️

Back in 2023, while I was an undergraduate, I had the privilege of participating in the Aspiring Entrepreneurs Programme (Tertiary Edition) organised by FATE FOUNDATION in Abeokuta.

Looking back, this programme was more than just an experience; it was the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey. It opened my mind to new possibilities, gave me valuable insights, and encouraged me to take the first steps towards building something of my own.

Today, as I continue building Latitude Autos & Engineering Works, I'm grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this experience and for the lessons that have stayed with me.

Thank you, @fatefoundation, for investing in aspiring entrepreneurs and helping us turn our ideas into action. 🙏🏽

Every journey has a beginning. This was mine. 🛠️📈
