POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What did it look like when 1,053 changemakers came together to Reimagine Impact?

Across 7 stages and rooms, KUMPUL Connect for Change Summit 2026 brought 43 program sessions into one day, unpacking questions around AI and innovation, access to capital, the future of creative economy, women in leadership, community-led growth, and how businesses can build impact while continuing to scale.

And the conversations didn’t stop at the stages.

71 business matching sessions connected entrepreneurs with potential partners and opened space for conversations around market access, collaboration, and what could come next.

These are some of the moments from our Main Day, from the ideas shared on stage to the conversations happening across the rooms and in between sessions.

To all the changemakers, partners, speakers, and stakeholders who joined us and made KUMPUL Connect for Change Summit 2026 possible, thank you for being part of it.

See you at KUMPUL Connect for Change Summit 2027!

The traditional approach to supporting entrepreneurs often focuses on helping them adapt to existing systems. But what if those systems are part of the problem? In Indonesia, formal bank lending to MSMEs remains below 20% of total loans, with an estimated financing gap exceeding US$130 billion. This raises a bigger question: are we doing enough to prepare businesses for growth, or do we also need to rethink the systems they depend on?

In her opening keynote at KUMPUL Connect for Change Summit 2026, Faye Wongso, Founder and Chairperson of KUMPUL, will draw on her experience in entrepreneurship and the humanitarian and development sectors to examine why isolated interventions often fall short. From fragmented supply chains and limited financial access to disconnected efforts across sectors, she will explore what it takes to connect business growth with social and environmental impact, and why lasting change requires collaboration beyond capacity building alone.

Today, our Founder and Chairperson, @fayewongso, spoke at @ideafestid 2026 in a conversation on “Beyond Networking: Indonesia Needs More Super Connectors for Sustained Impact,” alongside @gsyahrani from @ekonomimembumi & @indonesiabless and @fanbul from @minutesmanager & @infipop.id, with @nurkholismakki from @semuamuridsemuaguru as moderator.

Faye shared her perspective on what it means to be a “super connector” and why bringing the right people together can open up new ways to work, solve problems, and create change.

For her, building connections is about creating bridges to opportunities and access. When people come together, these connections can open doors to new knowledge, guidance, and opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach.

Thank you, @ideafestid for having us!
