BUZZ_BINNED:
••
@aluminumsf are here w/ “DISTANT NOISE,” the second single from their forthcoming LP titled ‘Iconoclast HaHa’ (10/30 @felte_label) & it finds the San Francisco-based quartet of Marc Leyda (vocals/guitar/samples), Ryann Gonsalves (vocals/bass), Austin Montanari (guitar) & Rick Altieri (drums) not moving the same way nor pulling the same weight across a 3:21 clip of swerve_gazing DreamPop.
••
“JOHNNY” is the lead single from @soupactivists’ forthcoming LP titled ‘Where The Rubbish Goes’ (11/13 @feelitrecordshop) & it finds Martin Meyer’s St. Louis-based project paying homage to the homie across 2 ½ power_Alt_poppin minutes while “thinking about all the Johnny-themed rock ‘n’ roll songs & decided surely my Johnny deserves one”
••
@untitledhalo are here w/ “SEX,” the latest single from their forthcoming self-titled LP (11/6 @dirtyhit) & it finds the Los Angeles-based quartet of Ariana Mamnoon, Jack Dione, Jay Are & Nicholas Noneman making you “feel like you just left the 4am rave & are finally walking to see the natural light” across a buzzy 2:42 clip of blissfully blown-out & dreamily delirious AltPopGaze.

"Louisiana Song" is out today, and this one is about my home state and growing up in a place that feels pretty far away from everything else. It's also about knowing that you can't always return to the thing that you came from.

On “Distant Noise”, @aluminumsf escape gravity with no fixed destination in mind beyond a far out soft blast.
