Independence isn't only a date we remember. It's a mindset we carry.
There's a quieter kind of freedom✨ in expressing who we are without needing to prove it to anyone. Rooted in our own culture, our own language, our own way of seeing the world.
There's so much pride in being Indian🇮🇳, in our art, our stories, our everyday life. None of it needs translation or approval. It just needs to be seen and celebrated as it is.
Here's to being unapologetically ourselves.

This Golden Summer

A summer-felt collection courtesy of this creative collective.

Days of endless sunshine, of blue skies, heat and the light – the boost of serotonin, the mood lifter our brains all crave.

Days of nostalgia, of the smell of grass, of suntan lotion, of bbq, the sharp of ice lollies; the air tight and swollen with sun.

Feel the warmth on your skin, shade the light in your eyes, and swipe through for all the summer feels.

Original art doesn’t have to mean a major investment.

From intimate plein air studies and atmospheric landscapes to expressive works on paper, we have a wonderful selection of original artworks available for under £500.

Whether you’re starting a collection, searching for a meaningful gift, or looking for the perfect piece for a particular space, smaller works often have a remarkable ability to capture attention and bring character to a room.

Featured here are just a few of the affordable originals currently available at Torrance Gallery, with prices starting from £165.

Which would you choose?

Today marks the final day of Local Characters at The Torrance Gallery.

It’s been a wonderful exhibition, and we’d like to thank all of the artists, collectors, and visitors who have made it such a success. So many of the works have already found new homes, but the exhibition will remain available to view online over the weekend—so there’s still time to make something yours.

As one exhibition closes, another begins… we’re already preparing for our next show and can’t wait to share what’s coming next.

Stay tuned for more information, or sign up to our newsletter for early access and a first look next week.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

Well it certainly has been a rollercoaster 🎢

Just two days remain to visit Local Characters at The Torrance Gallery. We’re sharing some highlights from the exhibition — a collection filled with exceptional paintings, warmth, humour, and character.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the wonderful artists who made this show so special, and to everyone who has visited and supported it so far. We’re delighted that many of the works have already found their forever homes… though there may still be the perfect piece waiting for yours.

There’s still time to come and see the exhibition before it closes on Saturday and we’d love to welcome you in.
