The best trip with the EVO team! What an experience so grateful to Evo for investing in our development and to Ivoclar for hosting such an inspiring course. Can’t wait to put this new knowledge into action. The cherry on the top was doing this training alongside the best colleagues 🫶🏻🖌️ 🦷

BRITNEY SAID GIVE ME A SIGN, SO HERE YOU GO. 👇🏻😭🦷

I know I talk about digital dentures A LOT, but there’s a reason for it. 😂

Especially when it comes to acrylic dentures, I’m a HUGE advocate for digital workflows.

Making the move into digital dentistry is becoming increasingly inevitable, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t TERRIFYING when you’re starting out. 🥲

And it’s not just about learning how to design.

It’s the finishing, the production, the workflows, getting clinicians on board and figuring out how to make it all work in a real laboratory.

As someone who’s been through the whole process, HEAR ME WHEN I SAY…

It CAN get easier. (Eventually 😭😂)

So, if you’re a dental technician who’s been wanting to get into digital dentures, struggling to make your current workflows work, or simply wanting to take your skills and knowledge to the next level, STAY TUNED. 👀

Because I’ve got something you’re going to want to hear about.

⏰ SET YOUR REMINDERS. SOMETHING BIG IS COMING NEXT WEEK.

Three YEARS in the making, something I’ve never seen offered in our industry before, and I’m only slightly petrified to finally share it with you. 🥹🤯🦷✨

When I interview a dental technician, I’m interested in more than the work they can produce on their best day.

I want to know what they can do consistently, how they learn, how they speak to people and what happens when the plan changes.

If you take 45 minutes to make a bite block, tell me it takes 45 minutes. If you’re still developing a skill, tell me. An honest answer gives me something to work with. An inflated one becomes obvious pretty quickly.

And if you’re asking for a particular salary, be ready to talk about the value you’d bring. That might be technical ability, relationships, efficiency, leadership, new clients or a combination of those things.

You don’t need a rehearsed answer for every question. You do need to know yourself well enough to have a real conversation.

➡️ Technicians and lab owners: what’s one interview question you wish people answered more honestly?

Know your own pace.

If I ask how long it takes you to make a bite block, give me your honest answer. Tell me what affects the time and where you’re still building speed.

Please don’t give me the number you think I want to hear.

We’ll both know the reality within your first three months..

Show me what you’ve done since qualifying.

What have you learned because you wanted to, rather than because you had to?

A course, a mentor, a technique you’ve practised or a part of the job you’ve taken time to understand.

Tell me what you did with what you learned.

Give me something to get excited about.

Who inspires your work? What part of dental technology do you want to get better at? Where would you like to be in a few years?

You don’t need a perfect career plan. I’d like to hear that you’ve thought about where you’re going.

Understand the business you’re joining.

It’s fair to ask for the salary you want. I’ll also want to understand the value you can bring.

Can you help us improve quality or efficiency? Build relationships with clinicians? Bring clients with you? Are you the triple threat who can make excellent work, communicate well and help the lab grow?

Remember that your work involves people.

I need to know I can trust you with our clinicians, clients and patients.

How do

If you’re going to watch one more study club before we disappear for the year… make it this one.

We’re bringing you @firas.dahbour — internationally renowned dental technician, lab owner, DTG member and KOL — to break down his brilliantly simple 4×4 ceramic layering concept.

4 stains.

4 firings.

That’s it.

A minimalist, predictable approach designed for real everyday lab work — less wasted time, less wasted material, and beautiful, consistent results.

And Firas knows his stuff. He’s taught technicians in 23+ countries across five continents, and now he’s joining Nightshift to share the system with us.

And did we mention…

THIS IS OUR LAST STUDY CLUB OF 2026. 🥲

My brain: I like clean, organised and one train of thought at a time 🧘🏼‍♀️

My career choice: Dust in every crease of my skin, noises that interrupt every coherent thought and multitasking across seven jobs at once 🤷🏼‍♀️

Success isn’t one big decision. It’s thousands of small ones.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve made a lot of them 🥹

💼 Working for free to gain experience
🌍 Travelling the world to learn new techniques
🎓 Spending 3 years completing a Master’s degree, even when people told me it wasn’t worth it.
📚 Investing my own time and money into learning.
🦷 Saying yes to opportunities that pushed me outside my comfort zone.

I’ve been incredibly lucky to have amazing mentors, opportunities and people who believed in me. I’m so grateful for every single one of them.

But none of it would’ve happened if I hadn’t made the choice to keep showing up.

Today, I get to work in a private lab, work with brilliant clients, create bespoke work for patients, and teach Dental Technicians around the world.

And in the words of Snoop Dogg… “I wanna thank me” 🤭 I sometimes have to remind myself of this, when I feel unproductive or low.

So if you’re feeling stuck too, remember this...

The career you want isn’t built in a day. It’s built by showing up consistently, learning new things, asking questions, and doing the work, even when it feels like nothing’s changing.

Take a second to look back. I bet where you are today is somewhere a younger version of you once dreamed of ☁️✨

Keep learning. Keep improving. Keep showing up.

If you really want it, make it happen. 🙌🏼
